Correction: Tim Walz did not retire 2 months before his battalion deployed. He retired in May 2005, 2 months before his battalion was “officially notified” of an upcoming deployment. They did not mobilize until later that year (where reserve or guard members begin their active duty tour and train for a few months at a base prior to deploying) and did not actually deploy until March of 2006. His retirement papers also had to be in months before his retirement in May as well. All that to say he was out of the service with PLENTY of time for a new command sergeant major to take the reins. I deployed 4 times to the Middle East and see nothing wrong with the timing of his retirement. He served honorably for 24 years and retired nearly a year before the deployment. That is not “abandoning your troops.” Did he have advanced notice that a deployment was coming “sometime in the next 2 years,” probably, but it wasn’t confirmed and he was running for congress, had done his time, had a small kid and I believe a kid on the way… plenty of reasonable reasons to retire.
Exactly! Sometimes I am amazed at how much these talking heads on a lot of different channels don't know. I read and watch multiple sources, and frankly know more than a lot of them. You probably do too. They get a lot wrong.
Have to call out LIES and Misinfo PRONTO. Don't let the B.S. gain ANY footing in a press that makes money from a close race. Republicans actually think that 60% will vote for DonOld.
He taught b high svhool. Social skill set on a whole 'mother level. Teachers know how to clap back hard in real time. Know how to read the room, express empathy and deal with bullies. For the win.
Walz was fantastic. As someone correctly said, he's a perfect Norman Rockwell Magazine cover figure, where he's dad at the head of the table on Thanksgiving. The guy is a gift.
I totally believe that, but I hate that term because I used to hear that all the time on right wing radio about Rush Limbaugh. How can we create another term? Let’s do that together.
Tim Walz having no stocks is an asset to their ticket…most Americans will be able to relate to that and it surely undercuts any insinuation of corruption with him.
I totally agree with you. I am a 75 year old retiree and I have no idea what's in my Pension Plan. All I know is: I get a check every month to supplement my Social Security check.
As an American who was on free lunch… I skipped lunch most always after 5th grade due to being embarrassed of my free lunch status. Everyone at school knew the kids who got free lunch. So stigmatizing. I’m so glad Tim Walz passed Free lunch for all in Minnesota. This should be the policy in every state. IMHO.
I worked in the cafeteria while my daughter attended school. I agree with ALL receiving free lunch. School is hard enough without wearing the stigmatism of a family struggling a bit financially.
Walz didn't "pull out" when his unit deployed. He retired after 24 years of honorable service, having advanced to the highest possible enlisted rate of E9. He stayed in after 9/11 when he could have retired at 20 years. As a retired Navy Reservist, I find Vance's attempt to "swift boat" Walz truly disgusting. I hope he gets the disdain from middle America that he deserves.
Exactly! And he announced his retirement prior to his unit finding out they were going to be deployed! I appreciate Vance’s service (and the service of all military personnel) and Vance should appreciate Walz’s service! Every service member signs a blank check when they serve! That should never be besmirched!
@@debrakron9049 To go yet further, even if Walz had found out that his unit was deploying and then decided to retire rather than go on deployment for 18 months, that would be understood among ranks. He served his time. There is no disgrace in stepping down. The Army National Guard would simply replace him with the next guy in line. Vance is banking on the average person being clueless about military culture. Vance is a buffoon.
I agree. He retired in May 2005 and his unit got deployment notice in July 2005, they actually deployed in 2006. Vance should be ashamed, he was counting on the many who don't understand the military to repeat this lie. Those people then try to tell me he wasn't the rank he claimed he was, yes he was but only served in that rank for a year therefore his retirement rank reverted back to the rank he held.
It’s because the American news treats it’s viewers like customers. Rather than tell the truth, they hedge their bets with appealing to whoever will keep giving them money.
Kamala blatantly lied about Trumps abortion stance, she lied about project 2025,she lied about the economy, she lied about the border, she lied about crime.
Tim Walz is not liberal --- he is just someone who adapts well to the changing world and tries to help those who are discriminated against, or otherwise disadvantaged, to feel accepted and included. It doesn't matter who it is, he does whatever he can to help them, which is a sign of empathy and desire to treat others with dignity. This concept seems to be something republican politicians don't understand, and therefore attack.
As an Australian… Tim Walz looks to me like the guy who has suddenly found himself in a position that he never thought was ever even possible for him. A month ago, he’s governor of a small state of , what? 5 million people? He’s happy. He’s probably thought that his political career has hit the ceiling and he was perfectly happy. Then, this comes along. Suddenly, he’s in the spotlight. I don’t believe that he will ever run for president. I think he’ll be perfectly happy, confident and competent to be the perfect foil for his partner and boss. He’s a coach. He knows that the stars are on the field and his job is to help. The perfect pick.
I think perhaps his skills as a coach may be under rated. Imagine the amount of skill needed to encourage and motivate people that he has. TFG is NOTHING like this guy. I thought i was happy with Kamala, i am excited about WAlZ
Seems like the press has just given up on trump, after all what is the point?trump will never give a logical precise answer on anything trump doesn't know, the answer one get is a word salad of nonsense and now even more so.
Mainstream media ended up at Mar-a-Lago for a trump BS rant, while Kamala and Tim were doing a rally in Detroit. Trump made sure his rant eclipsed the Democrat Rally. Lawrence O'Donnell was totally scathing of MS Media sucking up to the Donald. Time to get tough
I thought that too but the trump 'press conference ' was incoherent & just awful. Let him remind voters of how he behaves and speaks. He was pretty much like this during the covid press conferences.
We need to revamp how we receive news, the present media has elevated this moron by their constant attention and lack of professionalism. They are not doing their job. They have failed democracy by encouraging lies to circulate.
"This constant lying is not aimed at making the people believe a lie, but at ensuring that no one believes anything anymore. A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies cannot distinguish between right and wrong. And such a people, deprived of the power to think and judge, is, without knowing and willing it, completely subjected to the rule of lies. With such a people, you can do whatever you want." - Hannah Arendt (14 October 1906 - 4 December 1975) German historian and philosopher
He does a surprisingly good job in these videos, but don't forget: he is still an elitist insider big donor to Republicans despite their project 2025 agenda.
Tim Walz wants for America exactly what Europeans and other advanced countries have enjoyed for decades. Paid time off work, free school lunches, living wage, strong unions, other labor protections. If that's 'radical' then every other industrialized nation is 'radical'. And now they are living longer than we are because they have better living conditions and universal health care. Also, Tim Walz was up for military retirement when his wife had another baby with rounds of IVF. Of course he retired.
Interesting but not true he actually retired in 2005. The second child was born in 2006. His first child was born in 2001. He retired so that he could enter politics and I’m sure the fact that he was going to have the second child was on his mind so it wasn’t his first child it was, the fact that he had kids now and now he was having another one and wanted to enter politics because he thought that he could improve things for the people in his community and state. That is not abandoning anything. He also didn’t even know about the deployment until two months after he retired.
The only Americans who don't want a European style social safety net are the top 2% of wealthy earners who only desire tax breaks for themselves. Republicans may be in for a rude awakening come November.
@poladelarosa8399 And freer! Anyone who doubts that should look at the ranking of countries that have the best personal and civic freedoms. The United States ranks quite low.
Between Walz and Vance there is no contest, Vance is just unlikeable, the big problem the Dems face is a repeat of the 2016 presumed coronation of Hillary, cannot get complacent.
And ignore his twelve years in Congress representing Republicans and governor of Minnesota, a very high red/high blue state. The more I know about him the more complexity in experience I see underneath the Dad image. Impressed.
In spite of giving every child in Minnesota public schools free lunch and breakfast, Minnesota STILL has a budget surplus of over $3 billion. So why would anyone be against it?
I noticed immediately Walz’s stopping his speech for someone who needed medical attention-I noticed the expression his face. He cared. He could DO something about the problem. He dismissed what he had been doing (promoting the Democratic ticket) to deal with the human problem at hand. He waited. I was impressed.
I was at a 2016 Bernie rally where a guy who I had walked up into the event with us ended up fainting because he hadn't eaten all day. I was about 5 ft from him. Bernie stopped the whole show until he had been tended to and actually brought him up on the stage to ask are you okay now, where he was kept seated the entire event . Tim was as sincere as Bernie is, they care
As a proud American ally I am bitterly hurt by what he's done to your country. People laugh, people say he sold out to the Russians. Our security services in the UK are horrified at what he did, taking all those secret documents, and what he might do if he gets back in. He'll sell out every single agent everyone has, we gave all that information to the US in good faith and that TRAITOR stole it.
Trump may win---I for sure don't know. But wait and get upset if he does----if you want to. Learn to go with the tide. But get out and vote this time. Over 85 million voters sat out the last election. Vote and then accept our results. Don't ask me to guess who will win----I have been wrong about the last 4 elections.
I was about to comment this. I don't know why, but it's really surprising me just how much i enjoy listening to the Mooch, and how well the two of them work as a pairing. Great to have this show as a resource as we approach the final months of campaigning...
What took Trump off his 'game' was suddenly facing an articulate black woman instead of an elderly white guy. THAT'S what screwed Donny up, not the assassination attempt.
Agree! As we uncover the assassination attempt, it is looking more and more that a bullet didn't hit him and that the sniper was a far-right, life-long gun nut and allowed to get into position and fire when the secret service and police should have known he was there. Even if the sniper missed, leaked comms have proven that Trump exploited the moment as optics and during the shooting only cared about his shoes and not the injured and dead people behind him. Shameful.
maybe, but unless Donald is totally psychopathic (which he might be), being shot at is pretty traumatic. It would rattle anyone, and he may be realizing that not everyone likes him or wants him to be president. If he were totally devoid of feeling i would expect him to use being shot at as a key way of drumming up support. "Look they tried to stop me! but you cant stop Trump, i know it and you know it. They, the democrats, tried to stop us but this will only make us stronger!" but there has been nothing like that at all as far as i know. I truly believe that he was convinced of his own lies. That he was loved much more than he actually is, and that this assassination attempt shattered his ego and has prevented him from taking the stage as much.
Walz is a terrific speaker. You can tell this guy spent 20 years commanding attention as a teacher and coach. His “those guys are weird” line caused Trump and Fox News to basically malfunction for three straight days.
@@AlwaysPeacefulMaDeuce Wow! Check out this convicted felon trump supporter who is really worried about losing in November. If not, why are you trolling so hard😂 HarrisWalz2024💙
This should be a standard for all public debates. It is telling that Trumps team specifically tries to negotiate no fact checking during debates because trump cannot control his lying.
The "Time" was from day one!!! Why do republicons always double speak and lie, such disappointing bad humans... please Vote BLUE across every state💙💙💙🌊😇
@@justinmoore4764 the reason I've heard several times is that it would take up to much time to fact check. I don't buy that reason but whatever. Any other idea's as to why no fact check. Just may be it taking to much time because of dumps constant lie's.
@yarasub given the available technology, I would push back on the claims that it would take too much time. They just need to structure it to have 30s or 1min of time periodically to note the inaccuracies. It's not that difficult if there was a will to do it.
Thank you both for the podcast. I'm Australian and hoping Kamala & Walz are elected. You have kept me informed with your impressive analysis. I became a big fan of Anthony after he left the Whitehouse!
DonOld isn’t being quiet on purpose, he is being upstaged because he run a cheap campaign, with his legal fees and using campaign funds for his personal piggy bank. He is also just lazy hanging out in Mara logo and golfing and trying to get Main stream media cover him.
Some childish republicans are calling Walz tampon Tim which shows how out of touch they are. That is an issue that affects women and makes him even more likeable that he realizes women have added challenges and he is offering practical help. 🇺🇸💙🗳️
Yes trump is getting frustrated that none of these divisive (so he thinks) tactics are working for him. People figured him out. Like you said if anything all these complaints show how kind Walz is. In the past the abortion issue, gay issue and immigration worked for the republicans. Not now. People know they just talk and do nothing for working people. They will not vote against their own interests now just because of these divisive issues.
Yes, Spot on Anthony… No one is talking about this. He is so scared about getting hurt or getting shot at. Then that incident happened, he is petrified inside but acting all strong outside. He is indeed affected physically and emotionally by the near death. Now added stress aggravates the condition. He did think that he was invincible realised he is not. These kinda things ages you more than you are.
You're forgetting Trump's narcissism. (It's better if you don't...) Try to explain how a narcissist beloved by the whole wide world in their own mind, greatest gift of god, could ever suffer an attack. Now the real fun is that Walz is Eisenhower level of likeable. That will tear up Trump. He will go bonkers when he notices people like someone other than him more.
They have made a copy of Britains "rest of politics" and they are good. They are together with Campbell and Rory in britain very skilfull in the america and british politics.
Walz is already BELOVED... he's clearly already outshining Kamala, but in a good way where he's doing it while he's got her back - so he's the beloved Robin to Batman... the beloved Robot to the Robinson family... the beloved Poky to Gumby :D Yep, I'm 65 ;)
One of the most important things about Walz is that he's completely united the party. He was backed by Pelosi and supported by people like Joe Manchin, but the left wing of the party also loves him and is excited in a way that they haven't been about a democratic nominee since the first Obama election. With Walz you don't have to worry about leaking votes elsewhere, and can just focus on winning over enough independents to get you to victory. And to win elections you need enthusiasm, as that's what drives people to defend you and promote you to their co-workers, friends and family. Josh Shapiro would have demoralized half the party who would see the ticket as business as usual. And if anybody thinks somebody like Shapiro would be immunie to gross Republican attacks, trust me, they probably had the attack ads about him doing a cover-up for murder already lined up.
Great Channel ! Love Katty - been following you for several years (Morning Joe) and she is very smart but with a compassionate heart (and kinda easy on the eyes). I'm 74 years old (not crazy about that) and was a life long Republican until 2016. Along the way, I've started several successful businesses and, although I never watched the Trump TV show (apprentice?), I would occasionally catch little snippets on TV of him firing people on the show. I have had to fire people on rare occasions during my career and I can tell you it is a "gut punch" when you tell someone that "you're not good enough to work here" which is essentially what you're saying no mater hard much you try to soften the blow. It's enough to ruin you're whole week if you have any compassion at all. When I caught Trump saying "you're fired" I could see in his eyes the emotional boost he got. I wondered about this (and still do). It's a terrible thing to fire someone but Trump got a kick out of it and it made me realize how sick this man is. Completely devoid of any humanity or compassion. New Yorkers have had a saying for decades "everything Trump touches dies" and it is true. He's killed the Republican party and I doubt it will ever recover. Keep going guys - you're great together!
I agree with you wholeheartedly. 62-year-old here, also stunned at that high number! Seems like I was just waiting for my driver's license... Anyway. Ran my own marketing agency for 25 years. The only part I did not enjoy, and I can honestly say I hated it, was having to fire people. You have to do what you have to do, it really wrecked me. That orange sociopath's glee in his role of pretend power on that TV show was disturbing. Like you, I never watched an episode, but I've seen enough clips of him from it to know that he is a sadist. I have voted Democrat since Jimmy Carter, and I will be voting for Harris Walz even though I feel vehemently angry about the Democratic party policy of enabling autogynophilic men to enter women's sports, prisons, and safe spaces. However, it's clear that this is "last call" for a Democratic society in America. We've got to stem that tide first. We can fight the billionaire funded transgender/transhuman agenda after we save the country from fascists.
6:12... Walz has already done more in just a few days than Kane did in the entire election. Walz branded the entire GOP as weird and told them to "mind their own business" which has been echoed and brandied by both media and public alike. Name one thing Kane ever said or did that was memorable at any time during or since? Walz already hit a home run as possibly one of the best VP debut appearances ever.
Kane was not the right VP pick for Hillary. During his debate with Pence, he was much too hyper and jacked up, and interrupted constantly. He barely carried his home state of VA, and was unable to help Hillary in the South or in the Midwest. She should have chosen Elizabeth Warren, who, in my humble opinion, would have been a much better choice.
@@frederickrapp5396Warren is the real deal. She would not join the Clintons. Maybe Bernie who should have been the prez candidate anyway, if not for Hillary's personal ambitions and Superdelegate bullshit from 2 yrs before the primaries... Calling Bernie a communist is such a joke. In Europe he's considered a social Democrat. Well, our loss.
When Biden chose Kamala as his VP, I believe he did so with, in mind, grooming/coaching her to be President. Stepping down at just the right moment was pure genius. Also it knocked Trump’s top story of the assassination attempt clean off the charts. Genius 💙💙💙💙

And he went past what most commentators were saying was the moment where he needed to make the decision, but that gave the Repubs time to have their convention and Trump to appoint Vance. He got right out of the way while his opponent was busy shooting himself in the foot.
I think there have been 3 big things, from a branding standpoint, to the campaign. He’s a genuine blue collar everyman that everyone likes. He hit the mark with a word that is sticking to the Trump/Vance ticket - WEIRD! And he parried trump’s Laffin’ Kamala insult by rebranding Kamala and her laugh as “Bringing joy to politics again”. We want capable leadership, but we don’t elect weirdos, and almost everyone wants to elect someone who smiles and laughs, rather than someone who scowls and hurls insults everywhere at everyone.
I have to say, that the emotional intelligence that allows Tim Walz to speak effectively about reproductive rights for women and to advocate for the LGBTQ community as a straight white man, cannot be overestimated. Very rare, and I think that young women hear and feel his message. He literally said “don’t fall for it” don’t let them make us feel crazy. I FELT that message. Women deserve their right and we always have. That seems nuanced, but it is not. A post said “he is the father that an entire generation of young women have lost to Fox News” well said. Platinum value. Kamala can be angry and fight for it, but he reminds us of our worth. Pretty powerful stuff
Women, people of color, queer people: they can tell when a white man is paying lip service and just repeating supportive talking points vs walking the walk. Politicians develop a way of speaking where everything they say starts to sound like sound bites even when they back it up with voting records and activism. (Obama was once in a lifetime because he was the opposite, he could make anything he said sound genuine even if it was also a talking point.) I like Walz a lot because he is the real deal and it's obvious. He doesn't BS because he doesn't need to. He has a confidence that comes from experience and self-assurance, not pride and egoism. I hoped to never vote for a straight old white man for president again but if he gives us 8 years of VPing like what we've seen so far, I'd be happy to.
Yes you are 100% correct. Women deserve the right to safe spaces free from men, just as much as women deserve the right to make reproductive choices about their body.
Love watching Trump squirm his way deeper and deeper into his own childish weirdness. Riffing on the bigotry of his base won't be enough for him to win this time!
IF we're lucky.....he's been burning the candle at both ends all his life at the expense of others. wouldn't break my heart to see him reap what he's sown. it's loooooooong overdue!
He’s always proving that HE “Trump” doest have brains - while see sawing to get attention (on the playground) as a bully . . . There is No such thing as LUCK, when using your own brains.
It is fun to watch at times-----and he has a huge group that loves his antics. I get tired of it----but that's my problem. Harris is untested----so she could win----or more likely lose big time.
Memory loss, difficulty concentrating, struggling to follow a conversation or find the right word, being confused about time and place, mood changes. A truly disturbing spectacle. Trump's killing his campaign every time he appears.
Absolutely, Mooch! This is not Trump’s county, he’s not Putin. Politicians work for us and not the other way around. You come after my wife and my family, I’ll come after to you make sure you’re our of political contention
Why didn’t the press hold Trump more accountable and check his constant lies during his “lies conference” in Mar a Largo? Those “journalists” were spineless!! Got to fact check him in the moment.
Hey, y'all! Something Anthony said reminded me of my initial reaction to Barack Obama. At the time, I was a republican from Oklahoma. I was walking through the house with a basket of laundry when I heard Obama announcing his candidacy on TV. I didn't know him, and I just rolled my eyes. A little bit later, I was so enamored especially after the trainwreck that was Sarah Palin. Obama was the first democrat I ever voted for, and I haven't voted for a republican since. And for all the talk about the religious right, I felt as if a higher power had just brought Obama out of nowhere to save us. I actaully was lamenting that recently with Biden. I could have never imagined that Biden would drop out. Thank you, Joe! My wish came true! Here are these two people who are relatively unknown shaking the earth again. I'm mystified and grateful!!! Speaking of Sarah Palin, she was quite consequential to the destruction of McCain's candidacy!
When Obama was out of office, I just grieved for a long time. I just felt safe for a long time as long he was in control of things. Not now. I just hope we get enough voters in the right places🎉
Obama's time was joyful too, no drama and Joe was keeping people smiling all the time. They were an awesome team as I believe the Harris and Walz team will be as well.
Your story is so interesting! Sarah Palin is very much integral to laying the foundation for MAGA. Obama briefly touches on this in his last book. Her rhetoric and the tea party rhetoric paved the way for their insular, nationalistic movement. You made a wise and informed choice!
I live in walking distance of a prison. In my town there resides prison guards who work there. You do not get paid much for being a guard, but the fringe benefit for being a prison guard is that you get free food… the same as what the prisoners eat. I was told that the food is pretty good and no one complains. If we can take care of prisoners in such a positive way… then taking care of our children should not be a problem for such a similar issue. I praise Walz for helping the children.
I'm a lifelong Pennsylvanian, and I supported Josh Shapiro for AG and governor. My hunch is that Shapiro will run for POTUS in '28 or '32. If I'm still alive, he'll have my vote.
I have complete faith in Tim Walz & yes I agree Karmala picked the right VP. Minnesota will miss Governor Walz dearly as he represented everyone, he was very popular & well liked. @@EdwardLindonAtheist since I reached the age of reason, around 1968 for me. I find it to be a rare and refreshing viewpoint. We see it from conservatives and from the so-called liberal side. I am a Brit and I love following politics. I love the British version 'The Rest Is Politics' and they put me on to your channel. After just one viewing I subscribed. I love the show and wish you well with all your forecasts and predictions. For myself the US rogue elephant may face demise, but the American people will have to be prepared for the aftermath. Our courts are sitting the day after rioting here in the UK and jail sentences are being passed immediately. But those in high places who encourage such behaviour at the moment seem untouchable. Yet with the rhetoric of Labour in the UK and that of the Democrats in the US I am now hopeful for the future.
Walz started the retirement process many months earlier. You don’t just retire from the military in two months. When he filed for retirement his unit was nowhere near being sent to Iraq.
I love listening to this podcast every week. Katty Kay and Anthony Scaramucci have a very good rapport with each other, they are both very knowledgeable about US politics, and I feel smarter and more informed after having listened to them.
My favorite podcast of all time. These guys are so insightful, smart, funny and informed. I love their knowledge and often personal experience in US politics. Anthony's love of American history has inspired me to read more about our country, especially since he talks about Washington, Lincoln, Truman, the Roosevelts, the Clintons, and the Obamas more as personal friends than historical figures. I had no idea Katty Kay had lived in the US for so many years and that her children were born here (one was born in Japan). This podcast was great.
When waltz said if JD Vance can get off the couch, I almost fell on the floor laughing because I got the reference. And I thought he was on point with that comment!😂😂😂😂
In regards to the posibility of them going after Walz for how he handled the riots. There is a phone call circulating around where Trump called Walz and applauded him on how he handled the situation. In that call it also shows the vast contract between the two, where Trump was praising how the National gaurd went in and knocked down the rioters like "bowling pins", where Walz was more interested in expressing remorse over a civilian that died.
The thing is, many Black Americans appreciated Governor Walz' restraint in calling the National Guard. He recognized the pain of Black America and wanted to respect their right to peacefully protest. When he brought the national guard was perfect timing.
@angelamhaigler Well stated. Yes. A police officer MURDERED , George Floyd in the middle of the day with other Black people pleading to the police officer to get off him . @@cherricastellon490 if he had been needed the higher ups could have forced him to stay. As it was he stayed 4 years after 9-11 when he could have retired in 2001.
A military person on a previous post military-splained it, better than I can but let me try: Walz had to submit his retirement papers a year or more before his retirement date. He did not know when the deployment would happen, how could he if he submitted the paperwork a year prior. He had a small kid and his wife was pregnant and he was running for office. Plus he served over his time, over 20 years. Since the reserves had enough time, his replacement took over all his duties and the military moved on as it is supposed to. It’s set up so that if there’s a vacancy, many qualified personnel are able to step in and take over.
Walz may not upstage Kamala purposely, but his approval rating will be higher than hers. Walz is just likeable like no politician is, but every politician is trying to be the everyman. He wont be a threat like Shapiro, but still has popular appeal.
Your commentary on the US Election is insightful, thought provoking and fascinating. I'm British, and I thought our politics was F××××d up. What excites me about Kamala Harris, is that she is new, not just her age, but new in her ideas, and outlook. The US was not prepared to accept Senator Clinton, but in a choice between a 78 year old felon, liar and lunatic, and the Vice President, I can see the US moving to the inevitable, and breaking that glass ceiling once and for all. Your podcasts are amazing. With a respect from a political junkie.
@@MrRhomas913 Politicians with "ideas" are dangerous. They should concentrate on upholding the law, managing the economy and keeping everyone more or less happy. Boring I know, but it's far too rare.
@@MrRhomas913 Only when laws are needed. The worst thing is a politician leaping up and saying "I'm going to make a law about this, I'm going to make a law about that." Always ends in tears.
I saw him on RU-vid with his daughter, as well. So endearing. However; when she said she wouldn’t have a hot dog with him because she’s a vegetarian, his response was was, “okay, we’ll have a turkey burger”, to which she replied “that’s meat” very deadpan. She has a future in politics or stand-up comedy if she so desires.
I've really grown to like Anthony Scaramucci. Look at all the books in his office and home. He's a curious, intelligent and thoughtful guy. A guy you could talk to about many subjects besides finance.
@@tonyz766 Yes, I do think he has read those books. I read a lot of books and always have, so readers do exist, baby! Love your shout-out to the Anthonys!
What Trump and the Republicans have failed to realize is this isn't 2016 and Trump is old news. The Harris/Walz ticket is fresh and new and is offering a hopeful (and quite happy) alternative that half the country wants. Trump wants to take us back and Harris wants to take us forward.
And the republicans are manipulating the vote in every swing state they can and elsewhere, everyone should be aware of this, super PACs are being exposed for setting up websites under Elon Musk and then getting the voters information and purging their registration, targeting young people, and first time voters, so if the go to the polls their is no record of them. Wake up America, who cares about the trump show, focus on saving our democracy and freedom to make our own choices and close the door on these bastards. Way too much time is spent on analyzing this lunatic!
