Folks, the day has come. I finally figured out how capture footage from my 42-year old RCA Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED) player. I've got a decent sized collection of videodiscs, so I figured I'd run through them all here. Of course, given that this format (and these analog discs) are over 40 years old, 99% play like shit. In face, most of them are unwatchable. I'm pretty sure my original 1981 RCA unit is on its way out, with little to no hope for fixing it. But there's some fun to be had here, and I wanted to share that with you. So, here's the closing to the 1983 MGM/UA CED Videodisc release of Don Bluth's The Secret of NIMH (1982).
