Continuing from Part 1 (1964-1976) here is 75 minutes of music detailing the later years of British rock band The Pretty Things who influenced Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Ramones, The Clash....basically every big name in classic rock you can think of. This is an overview of the years after they broke up in 1976, ending their contract with Swan Song records. During this time there were many off the radar albums with rare gems, this collection collects one track from each album going chronologically, along with singles and offshoot solo projects. Detailed is a band adrift between 1980 and 1998, only to experience one of the great creative comebacks for a 35 to 55 year old band. RIP Phil May, Pete Tolson and Gordon Edwards.
