I think i am bad at Physics and Maths, but this is a new start; so i am gonna start practicing more questions daily, effectively spend more time on past papers and understanding the concept as a whole, instead of running away from them in fear!
I failed 4 classes last year and barely passed them in the last exam, but this is a new start. I’m going to revise everything taught that day and pre read a page of each subject. i CAN get back to my prime !!
im bad at math but this is a new start! i'm going to do the corbett maths 5-a-day higher questions and do past papers and make sure i understand what the question wants from me and how i solve it instead of just looking at the answer and pretending i understand.
Last year at school I had all A’s, so when I came across this video I clicked on it since I find it so fascinating to hear people’s advice and learn different ways to improve, so I thank you for making this video 🙂
This really describes me because I often don't plan my studies and don't review it right after. Therefore making me to forget. The part when you said 'holding on to failures' thinking your stupid because you got a 60% on a math test last year PERFECTLY describes me last year. My average was about 64%, and I couldn't let go of thinking about it all the time. Thank you for this video. THIS IS OUR YEAR 🔥
I think I'm bad at medicaid nurse aide and pharmacy technician, but this is a new start. So I am going to start by making flashcards and studying them daily.
idk why but its really addictive to just pull out my notebook and learn from this YT channel i really plan on rereading it multiple times and working with it
My worst subject by far is Spanish, I am pretty much top of every other class, but Spanish lessons go on forever and I have no clue what the teacher is yapping on about. I still have one more year where it is mandatory to do Spanish, and for the last bit summer break that I have left, I am going to dedicate myself to learning everything that I should've learnt last year so that I am less lost in the lessons and they are slightly more bearable. One year from now I will never have to speak a word of that shit again :)
I think I'm bad at maths, but this is a new start. I will start taking an hour or two on Saturdays, memorizing equations and doing excercises. I will generally also be getting more sleep and take frequent breaks to stay motivated both during class and at home.
i've been watching your videos during 6th grade... i used to get only 90's, and never honor roll, which is what me and my parents consider "failing", and i got 80s in many subjects. but now, i have a 100 in basically everything, and am top 2% in my grade. thank you so much (btw im in a private school where they teach high school so i can relate to these vids)
About the revision part, my mother used to yell at me to revise daily but i used to tell her i revised it at school, when the teacher taught us the concepts. I figured that if i understood the concepts i need not revise. So i wasted my last two years of high school, being a non-revisor/reviewer. And two days before my exams, i used to go through past papers. It did not help. Always have some sample QP with you, always. And please please revise. If i can go back to high school (which i dont want anytime soon, never lol) i would make sure i would revise and review every day. Since im starting nursing school in the fall, im looking forward to implement my learned tips into action. And im sure ill get ahead !
i think i'm bad at 12 methods (a level math for uk), but this is a new start. so i'm gonna: - do 30 min of methods every day (+ review past topics) thanks jspark:)
I suck at English at WAEC, NECO, and my first Semester in Uni.. I worked soo hard and I didn’t still make a 5.0 with 100/100 in all subjects… I know I can do better… chemistry, biology, C programming, physics, maths, Eng ( culture and philosophy )… time is start a fresh!! New me!
I’m really bad at music theory, I have a big project that’s coming up and I need to be confident in it to pass and so what I’m going to do is to start making flash cards and notes on the different subjects in it (specifically chord identification) and try to get more knowledge on it then I already do. My goal is to try and practice on chords for half an hour each day to get better at it. This means I’ll put my phone on dnd, lock my screen so I can’t go on any other apps and lock in cause I don’t wanna fail. Might try and update here everyday to bank my progress as well to show how I’m doing on this
I will start actively studying at least 2 hours a day no matter what For years I didn’t even study 10 minutes even in exams I didn’t i want to change all of a sudden i hope i can I can
Me: Hates school, doesn't study much, crams, lazy ass, addicted to game, dumbass, doesn't study for quizzes, my friends say I'm lying My grades: Lol straight. A. idk how friends stop it Btw good luck to yall and pls wish me luck I have an exam tomorrow and I haven't studied
i think im bad at bangla mainly cus i barely study it, i dont even remember the last time i studied it lmaooo i make quite a lot of grammatical nd spelling mistakes, thats it. im gonna revise bangla atleast 3-4 times a day, read bangla books and do more past paper questions. im gonna start from today, although i kinda suck at being consistent but ill try my best. pray for me guys 💓
His tips are really helpful and i managed to finish with all 10 (the max grade in my country). This is the last year i have my middle school exam (9th grade exam cuz in my country is not 8yrs but 9) to then pass to freshman class (10th grade cuz yeah this is how it works were i live) and i really want to ace them so ik Jspark (the GOAT) will help me ace this year again
I'm very bad at chemistry and physics. but now I'm gonna change my ways in studying. I get easily distracted maybe I really should separate my time with my phone and study time.
I think I am bad at English, but this is a new start. So I'm gonna start reading that 1 chapter of Jane Eyre, reviewing that one vocabulary flashcard, practice writing that one claim statement. If anyone has any tips on AP Literature writing claims, please do tell! Despite it being my first language, English is currently my worst subject :'D
Ahh! School reopens in 9 days! YO! We can WIN this!!😌🤝😆💪👑 Ok...just felt like hyping us all up😅😗. But I'm serious, let's WIN this!!😆 (Also don't like physics and maybe further math🤧)
i think i am bad at maths and chemistry and i will try to do more past papers because i just revised content mindlessly without doing any practice on how to actually answer most questions.
I think I'm bad at physics but this is a new start. I'm going to start reviewing content and doing practice questions regularly to make sure I fully understand the concepts.
My god it’s impossible to tackle physics and Chem am having a mental breakdown rn 🙂↕️btw mr jspark congratulations 🙌 for your GCSE RESULTS 🎉proud of you…did u have mental breakdowns while studying 📑 and found it impossible ever …..
my grades this exam DROPPED LIKE WHAT my gpa was 2.0 shi? i find history and phy really hard, i went from 98% to 55% so im going to do make a planner and probably set a pomodoro timer becausr i feel like i also procastinate alot:3
My weak subject will probably be Nepali and yk my NEPLAI exam is in 2 days tbh I was really good and Nepali in 7th and idk what happened after that I'm literally in 10th grade rn the Nepali grammar and the questions patterns are the worst idk how to write that long answers and remember all the characters from all lessons or the grammar or spelling or their meanings I guess I will try to understand the grammar and learn the lesson (idk)from yt
