So True, Great Teacher. Once you learn one and Logic 101 the others are easy. It is so true that you can quickly learn others with very little effort. I learned COBOL / Basic / Basica / C+ C++/ Pearl etc in the 90's before there was anything. You had to define each screen all data files... it is much easier today because there is so much stuff out there that just creates those things without real programming. smile.

Something I learned when I got the logic part of programming understood was that writing code that loops is usually ok if you are working with small sets of data, but if your data set will grow into substantially larger sizes, the efficiency of your code will drop dramatically, and create some heavy CPU use. This is covered by a math concept called Big O, and I learned about it from a video done by Aaron Jack. He explains it really well. What I found is to avoid too much looping you generally need to either create more complex objects to hold your data, or find an alternate way to search your data set, usually by using a database.

The logic that you are defining here should also add that what computer should do to complete our tasks will be given by us as ainstructions and in order to give instructions we should know first what computer can do give to give better instructions to it . Isn't it?

I learned to read lines code. Python course by Chuck on free code camp. 13 hour coarse, then I took his web application 14 hours course, 14 front end. One helped and messed me up node.js and express 14 hour coarse. Code front end code back end. I kept seeing jump file to folders to documents. At first I'm like what's black box what numbers on side. Just go over and over sections you don't understand. It clicks they making routing calls. Setting up code fire off smooth.

Uh you could just divide by 2 and have an if statement that checks if it is a whole number or if it has a decimal value. All odd numbers will have a .5 decimal value. Simple.

What is going on with the ads I have never seen so many at one time. I could not watch any more. In regards to the content. Perhaps I am missing something, but I thought the program was to produce the first 1000 even number, the way the program is written I believe it will only produce the first 500 even numbers as there are only 500 even number in a range of 1-1001, where 1-2001 would produce 1000 even numbers.

if (i%2) == 0 checks if the number when divided by 2 leaves a remainder of 0. This essentially checks if the number is even.
