sheds light on what he was doing in his prime, i remember watching as a kid and now an adult i replay the scenes in my had like "so thats why he did that"
We are all so lost in the numbers, we forgot those legends were tackled like a mannequin and kicked in their nuts, yet still produced moments of brilliance.
@Rainy Day what I said is despite the football tactics. These days defenders can get away with kicking and unfair tackles. But in those days they could. I'm not just talking about Titi. Also how hard it was for Ronaldo Nazario, Maradona, Pele and the likes to score amidst harsh defending.
@Rainy Day that's a weak logic ur using cuz tiki taka is not working in today's football not because we have better teams now but because it's a decade old tactic and now teams have had the time to analyse tiki taka and produce some counter tactics but back then when it was new other teams were trying to figure out the tactic that's y teams were losing yeah in some aspects today's football is better it's faster but u can't disregard the past jst because you think like that so please next time bring a better argument Also dnt worry I'm not some 40 years old trying to justify my times had better football I'm a 21 year old Madrid fan
For those who don't know, carra was given the clues: - Played with Micah - 2 time African player of the year - Played for FC Basel Carra answered Shaqiri... answer was Mo Salah lol
I really like Thierry Henry because he was the most exciting player to watch in the Prem. And Kate Abdo who is the smartest on the show is the real star of this programme.
Even the leanest footballer has unreal core strength and balance. Henry regularly coped with the likes of John Terry, Rio Ferdinand & Sol Campbell as if he was the hulk.
Mad respect to henry and Micah , they know when to joke around and when to listen and respect others tips/points of view wich is what is lacking on alot of football shows where no1 respects no1.
Honestly how many planes do those guys take per week ? CBS in NY, Sky Sports in London and Henry is covering Ligue 1 with Amazon in France. It must be exhausting...
I'm pretty sure they film this in london usually when they are in the actual studio. Plus, the eurostar from london to paris will get you there in 2hrs.
Halaand is a sprinter he doesn't play with his back against goal for example in the game yesterday as soon as Gundogan gets the ball Hummels drops off a few inches to stop his runs through or Can close down Gundogan so that he doesn't make that pass
Jamie actually made quite a good point abour how you can try and defend Haaland. 90% of the cbs in the prem can try and take this advise because Haaland will out power them
Haaland is probably stronger than 99% of the players he faces. But he is not that agile or quick with his feet. Gomez go the better of Haaland with timing, positioning and speed. Carra has a top notch football IQ
Overrated. He's all pace. His speed gives him so much time and space to be composed. Many pace players who age or lose pace due to injury can't compensate by improving other areas of their play and decline rapidly. Torres, Owen are examples. Let's see how he does when he loses the pace. Henry was a bullet when he declined in speed he still scored, V. Persie, Shearer, Aguero were quite fast, not the fastest but with age they improved other areas and were still devastating after losing a yard of pace. That's class. Not what you do at the start of your career aged 21/22.
Funny reading this considering out of all the amazing goals he's scored in this world cup none of them were because of his speed. Actually most of his best goals with PSG had nothing to do with his speed as well you clown
He scores enough goals as it is, there are barely any teams left worldwide playing classic striker roles so it’s a total non issue. Did someone forgot the aim of the game is to score the most goals? Mbappe Neymar Messi all score infinite goals FROM THE LEFT. May it continue
The game has gone soft sooner or later football will be made in a Hollywood basement. Forwards can push off to create space like Haaland does, but the defender can't touch the forward.
You don’t know what ur talking about lad. I watched that fella for 15 years at anfield, he was solid as a rock. And he’s got a European cup winners medal 😬
Haaland just runs in straight lines, he’s got no agility. To stop him, you need to cut the service to him. He’s not gona drop deep like a prime messi or Ronaldo, pick the ball up, beat players and score.. he’s always looking for that run in behind and hoping someone passes it through early
