What bending powers should CBR cover next?! Let us know below! The Legend of Genji is about an Avatar who is a Sandbender! Find out more here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KW_r7DQqY1A.html
I think 1 way Genji could get his memory from past lives by journeying into the spirt world because ravtu destroyed the avatar’s connection to future and past avatars but the the avatar’s connection to the spirt world so uncle iron could help Genji
She is the best we've seen, by far. But being self proclaimed is not about whether it's true or not. It is about who is making the claim. She claimed to be the best, therefore she is self proclaimed.
The reason Toph can't defend appa when he's kidnapped is because she can't "see" them. She can sandbend, although not as proficient as sandbenders. Her sand maquette of Ba Sing Se is proof that she can sandbend properly
heck even her establishment in the series involves bending a cloud of rock dust to the ground to disperse it after the fight in the earthbending arena... she is litterally bending billions of tiny rock particles at this point.
Well even she said she worked on her sand bending skills that means she wasn’t a good sand bender in the desert time. And when I remember it right she even said that she has problems on sand
What? If other people aren't proclaiming it but rather her herself then it's self proclaimed. Even if they could disprove her claims that wouldn't suddenly make it not self proclaimed lmao, something being self proclaimed or not doesn't have anything to do with it's verifiability
Agree, especially the way the sand benders utilize mini dust devils to travel with their sailors. I haven't seen or know much about where the fanfic about Genji is going, but I can see it being a plot point of him discovering to be the real Avatar by naturally and unconsciously air bending on accident while either being in a fight, or just casually mimicking his air bending friend.
I can see Genji learning water the easiest since he’s so proficient at sand bending and then airbending. I see fire being his toughest but that’s just my opinion. Definitely very interesting how deep you can get into these elements.
Ooohh I always presumed water is going to be his most diffecult one, since in posters he has air and fire, but not water, and water is preeety rare in the desert, so I assumed water is going to be the most difficult one
Sandbending is much closer to airbending in terms of the movements that they make so air and water wpuld probably be the easiest. Also genji is fan made so not really part of the series
Toph DID learn sandbending though, she made a sand city on Ember Island in one stomp, which some think was due to how helpless she felt in the dessert unable to defend Appa and vowing never to let it happen again
Definetely, he is one of the few benders besides the avatars that actually studied all the elements, as shown in the episode where he taught zuko how to redirect lightning
Now I want to see more bending with different bending techniques: - Ice Bending with Earth Bending Techniques - Mist Bending with Air Bending Techniques - Snow Bending with Fire Bending Techniques - Liquid Metal Bending with Water Bending Techniques - Poison Gas Bending - Heat Bending - Acid Bending
We saw 2 of those, actually. We have heat bending from Fire Lord Sozin when he helped Roku with the volcano, and we have the liquid metal from the Red Lotus when they put what looked like mercury in Korra to kickstart the Avatar state
Can earthbenders actually mudbend by bending the earth particles in the mud? Toph didn't exactly mudbend to get Katara dirty. She kicked the mud at Katara, then she earthbend in the mud puddle. Katara was the only one I saw mudbend and I think it was because she was able to bend the water present in the mud. Mud is basically earth mixed with water. But I also think mud goes back to the things you said about sandbending which is an earthbender will need a waterbending mindset in order to sandbend. Possibly, the same thing would've been said about mudbending as mud is a semi-fluid materal.
Sorry I forgot but still. If she could bend mud which is literally partly water, why couldn't she bend sand. Sandbending requires a waterbending mindset. Mud is closer to water than sand is. Wouldn't it require like 2× more effort for Toph to bend it?
well it would be earth ending since sand is made of millions of different minerals and rocks. you can move things like water and objects with air if the air is strong enough but that’s just physics
Wow so many sub elements. Glassbending Bonebending Sandbending Bloodbending Nature bending Healing bending Lighting bending Smoke bending Metal bending
I think bone bending is just a theory. Earth benders can't bend pure metal, they can only bend metal with earth impurities in them. So pure calcium in bones cannot be bended by earth benders. Might as well blood bend coz there are iron in blood if that is the case.
It seems like Earth bending is the element that’s really underrated… Earth benders can do a lot… Lava bending, crystal bending, mud bending, vine bending, and metal bending
@@MisaelMatute76 never saw korra until last year. Fully expected to hate it. Walked away really liking it but I saw where it stumbled for sure vs the og series
@@Guybuy14 yep so bonebending wouldn't be a problem though yeah it would make them way too O.P and if they gonna do that they might aswell add muscle bending or brain bending😂😂
No I don’t think so because fire has no relation with light The only thing they have in common is that they generate light but fire benders have no way of bending it
I thought sand benders were actually air benders. They create sandstorms and travel on land sails. It would explain why they are rare especially if they are in hiding.
They are making new avatar series’s but idk of any have been announced. Or it could just be avatar movies. It’s one of those or both. They’re are 100% making avatar related things. They might not be with the original maker Aaron Ehasz.
toph does sand bend to an impressive degree in one episode near the end of the show when they first get to ember island and they are on the beach she makes all of ba sing se in sand on the the beach. even making a mini Earth King and Bosco. that's impressive
Is it really sandbending, or airbending the sand particles? Would make much more sense knowing that sandbenders are nomads, like the airbenders, and that the airbenders went in hiding during the 100 years war. Possibly sandbending requires the genetics of airnomads and earthbenders combined, just like lavabending requires genetics of earthbenders and firebenders!
I don't think subs are a result of a bender's genetics. It's just an alternative bending style that comes with a different level of mastery and difficulty than their main element. For example metalbenders weren't born being able to metal bend. They had to learn the technique from Toph. If it was genetic, only Toph's children and grandchildren would have learnt it.
@@Guybuy14 then one might argue waterbenders can only bend ice if they are descended from earthbenders if solid. or perhaps they need to have fire nation genes in order to melt ice? the state of the element has no impact on their genetics
@@Guybuy14 Avatarverse does not have some mixing gene to get unique bending. It's their mastery and difficulty over their original bending. It's particularly why Iroh pressed Zuko to learn and know all bending styles. The basic idea is that they're Jing practitioners.
If u are a good manipulator of earth in any scale, small enough to bend tiny sand particles far from each-other, u can put the sand inside someones body from the nose, and then get all the parts to gether. Secondly it is very good on control the field as a whole, not only the ground. U can sand step and float just like dust stepping
Cbr: the self proclaimed greatest earth bender in the world can’t sand bend to a impressive degree Me immediately: did you see her bei sing sei sculpture with the earth king and bosko made out of sand
Theres actually 26 types of jing, some of which momo has mastered. Edit: Also iro(cant believe i forgot to spell his name) used water bending to "make" lightning
Maybe the future Avatar should came from some things like Foggyswamp Waterbender, Metalbender or maybe Spirit Projection and Soundbender user for Airbender. (I've heard that Soundbender was a thing).
Theory which would be cool if u guys covered it- Airbenders the new ones were infact related albit very distane, cause Boomie starts bending and his dad's the avatr there's a lot more then that but if you guys wanna do it that's ur call
I always associated sand bending more with air bending personally. Just seemed to fit the bending style. I though if any lava bending borrowed from water considering they literally liquify they’re element
I wouldn’t trust nick or any studio with it honestly. The beauty of being fan made means they don’t get restricted by companies, producers, ad runners, etc. they’re allowed to do whatever they want. At least that’s my opinion
@@MrShiki1134 oh I agree, I was just saying that if it went to a studio like nick it wouldn’t get the right treatment. But Avatar Studios would treat it right I feel.
What about glass bending? This isn't theoretical either. Each bender has one thing in common; they can change the temperature of the element they're adept in. Skilled benders of the water tribe can turn water to ice, some fire nation members can spontaneously conduct bolts of electricity, the earth kingdom has exhibited a few non-avatar benders who can lava bend (Bolin can solidify lava,) and the air nomads... **Cut to episode one, when Aang first arrived in the Southern water tribe without freezing to death while everyone else was wearing a parka.** Beyond this, It would be awesome to see glass bending in action. I can see people of the earth kingdom bending metals and minerals into a glob of glass and then shaping it into a vase. Imagine if there was a history of these guys stealing other people's blood just to add color to a stained glass mural. That would be epic and could add more history to the earth kingdom. Finally, though it may seem mundane, imagine the versatility of glass bending! If sand is the earth kingdom's answer to water bending, imagine these guys having hip bags filled with sand. If they were pinned down in one area, all it would take is a shard of glass to the throat, and then, bam, it's over.
@Henry Okoro but you didn’t explain how it would be possible because remember avatar works around with actual physics along with some magic energy bending can allow to bend your own energy along with others. All the things u list are either because traces of their bending is in it like metal bending. But you can just use normal water bending to pull water out from the air. Also there is technically no lightning bending because that’s just fire bending in it’s purest form and all u do is redirect the energy. So for light bending to be possible would be either through energy bending or at least magic since you can’t bend light only redirect and the only way light bends is through a black hole
What if genji did something like boruto and did like some vanishing sand thing. Think about it, he could make like a sand ball and throw it, then deform the sand ball into sand particles in the air so the opponent couldn't see it, then bend the sand particles behind them and then join the sand particles together and reform the sand ball, turn it into rock and hit their back. It'll probably take a lot of skill but that would just be OP
I had a hypothesis that the sand benders were decended from air benders who went into hiding in the desert to hide from the fire nation and that their bending was a form of air bending that naturally mixed with earth bending as the years passed.
Sandbenders could create Sandpaper 📜 armor and create Origami-style weapons. While looking like Mummies. Would be cool if a Sandbender partnered with Wan Shi Tong to create record copies of all text in his Library with Sandpaper scrolls 📜 & Tar-Ink🖋️. Maybe even create Sealing techniques with special symbols or adding creeping crystals fragments to the tar-ink so the sticky ink would continue to grow & expand to immobilize targets while the Sandpaper also expands through Sandbending and creating sealing tombs🪦 for victims or preserving specimens.
Imagine a Water Bender Teaching an Earth Bender how to sand bend, teaching them how to control lightness and flow control Its like an Earth Bender teaching Katara how to just push or disperse water instead of redirecting it like how earth benders can just push with force if they want to and this is or was uncommon among water benders to just forcefully push back water like how she dispersed the water against that old lady that was the first bloodbender Vice Versa
Uhm reason why it’s rare and toph had trouble with it is the amount of time they have had around sand. If Toph lived in the dessert you don’t think she would be the best at it? Of course! It’s about the proximity and amount of time a bender gets to practice with it.
Gotta call out the criticism off Toph here. She complained about Sand because it made it harder for her to see. A lot harder to sense the vibrations through soft sand than it is a single solid piece of rock. In Season 3 she makes a model of the entire city of Ba Sing Se with sand. She could sandbend efficiently and with incredible precision. She was literally holding up an entire library and stopping it from collapsing, that's why she couldn't fight the sandbenders. Right before she holds the library up, she sandbends the ground beneath her into a platform so she can have a more stable place to ground and root herself. Toph is an incredible earthbender, master of the traditional might first approach, but if that was it, Bumi could have just trained Aang. He was the epitome of that. But Toph was the one who waited and listened, and had the most precise control of any earthbender - hence discovering a new style of bending.
Why is it that a lot of sub elemental skills have to deal with waterbending? We’ve seen the same with lightening generation and lava bending, now it looks like sand bending always have it too, it’s really interesting
Which brings a question if you got sand into a cut or into the body could a sandbender kind of like bloodbend or move the body through the sand in their system?
So will this new avatar turn earth into sand or like gourd of Gaara will he carry sand in a container ? 4 elements are somewhat easily accessible most of the time though I can not say the same for sand. Aside from shaping how he will bend the other elements I can not see a solid way how sand bending will be a prominent factor in the show.
Genji could probably crystal his own body in the avatar state reflecting but also connecting with all other avatars somehow connecting a bridge to all spirits and humans as well . Possibly if this were to take place he would need to crystallize his spirit when making a connection or bridge to the spirit world a way for him to bring his former consciousness back. A perceptive perspective of vision and future
Guys how about CBR theorize on this What if both raava and vaatu were fused to a human who had energy bending and the 4 elements or How raava and vaatu are equally matched and both true and dark avatars can bend energy without energy bending and create spirit vines and wilds control that and forests and shoot spirit laser out of chest with tendrils and turn spirits to light and dark without spirit bending or What if the dark avatar was a non bender or How only raava and vaatu and no other spirits can fuse forever with a human on harmonic convergence
Em... SiO2 Glass is just as normal glass - Insoluble in Water. Potassium is added to reduce the melting point and making it more economically producible.
I think Toph sand bent in the episode the Phoenix King and even went further to say that "look I've been working on my sandbending indicating it was sth she was working on
