(It was even 12 years ago, when you uploaded that video on resetting Windows XP, that music in the pauses is amazing; I also found it very useful) I think everyone will agree that out of all CS, hell, even gaming RU-vidrs you are amongst the top, if not the best. Thank you for Teardown - if not your video, I wouldn’t have even looked at ot, and it’s great. Sadly, I’ve chosen to quit playing CS for at least a while now - it’s turning into an addiction, and I have probably one of the most important moments of my life going on. I’ll still watch your videos though. Thank you, Philip.
May I ask why it is one of the most important moments in your life now ? Dont tell me it is a girlfriend/woman. That would be stereotypical, came across very often to guys who quit because of their partner. I am asking because I try myself to figure it out. Did not play for two years, then started two weeks ago, immediately became addicted. Cant afford timewise to continue right one, in my case to complete my studies succesfully, but I definitely want to take the matchmaking very seriously once I am done with my degree. Then I am going to buy the best new engine for cs go and all the other equipment. I was never really a good player because of my limited bad devices. Still got to MG I rank.
@@NihiIistic It's really fun. Meant to be played more casually since there's not much in the way of balancing on it. However, it looks great, is a treat to explore and has good replayability.
Hi Philip. Just wanted to say I don't play CS:GO (I have less than 10 hours in the game) but I still thoroughly enjoy your content, even if I don't enjoy the game. It takes a hellalalotof skill to be this entertaining.

imagine being the guy who owned the Mercury Cougar, and then finding out they put specifically YOUR exact car into the map. Many can say that they own a car that's in a game, but few can say they own THE car in the game

Great video. A lo of love and care went into the map and this showcase of it! Admittedly I haven't played the match much but I enjoyed it when I did, always cool to see community maps get showcased in the game officially, they're usually my favorite parts of the updates.
Philip, i just wanna say thanks for your content. You have been consistent in providing quality videos with the right amounts of humor, information, entertainment, and great easter eggs. So you can hear a video while playing a game, but if you actually watch it you'll gain more. So there's some rewatchability value. I don't know why, but something about the thumbnail and the December/Wintery atmosphere that it produced, made me want to comment on this video. Hope you have some good resting holidays and a good new year too!

"Fjällen" is actually the scandinavian name for the mountainrange in scandinavia. The word mention, "Fjäll" is a name that can be used for any mountain apart of this mountainrange. So we wouldn't use these names when discussing other mountains such as the Alps (central Europes mountainrange). However I'm not sure if iceland's mountains are considered apart of "Fjällen". -An informative swede.
I rly love the map. It's one of my favs but the matchmaking system is broken on that map. When I play with my mates we are 5 MGE player but we always get either a full Supreme and LEM Mix as opponents or a silver and gold nova mix
Yeah, it happened to me as well. But I was the LEM with my friends and the other team was full of novas lol. It happens probably because there arent enough people to play on each rank
Problem is maps like this come and by, no matter how cool they are or something along those lines. Basalt could easily stay in the game if people are willing to keep playing it because the easter eggs are quite interesting.

The creators clearly put so mucb love into this map, from the visual style all the way to how it actually plays being one of the fastest paced maps in the pool, I really hope it gets to stay but I’m scared cuz if Anubis didn’t make it then would basalt?
And on this map like on Anubis, swamp and mutiny who were both in the game, the mapcore logo have been included in the map, on this map it can be found on the van in middle as the car badge in the front.
