The important things to note here is "I'm taking you into custody"... Earlier in the show, Mina said that all kaijus must be killed, but N°8/Kafka is in custody, that mean they already don't consider him/it like a true kaiju and I love that.

If we think that the goverment shouldn't favor anyone in particular then Mina decision is surely make sense. From their perspective, they still didn't know much about Kafka unlike us the anime watcher. So thinking that they should aware of the kaiju that can reach 9.8 fortitude and destroy the whole country instead of thinking about something like "nah, that's fine he's our friend" is make more sense since they have to protect people so they should aware of that 9.8 kaiju first.

Ngl I would actually do the same. Because take a good look at that bomb No one would survive and the base won't be the only thing that would be destroyed. They shockwave impact after it was sent into the atmosphere and exploded still caused some damage.

Crazy to think how Hoshina and Mina talked down to how weak Kafka is, yet they all probably simultaneously realized he could have probably solo'd no. 10 without them.

No. 10 was at 9.0, but yeah, Kafka being 9.8 is crazy. This episode was phenomenal! Hopefully this one + the ones remaining are what pushes this show to everyone's attention. :D

I regret to inform you that the cliffhanger situation will definitely not improve moving forward. At least the anime is weekly, which is less of a wait than for the manga readers when this kind of thing happens. One of my favorite interactions between characters should be in the next episode, and I’m looking forward to it.

i dont wanna spoil but i think theyll be able to finish off the next arc in the last 2 episodes, i dont rememebr if this season was 12 or 13 epsidoes but i belive they can fit that last arc in there for the season, the manga is pretty great tho some criticize it for its pacing, while the pacing of the chapters is fine its the release schedule, its bi weekly and the chapters are roughly 26 pages per chapter these days, so it leaves people feeling dis satisfied cuz like a chapter only covers part of a fight and they have to wait 2 weeks for it to continue

I actually started that on patreon, but the interest died out so I've been focusing more on other shows such as Girls Band Cry, I did enjoy the premise though

@@bluestReacts maybe once the season finishes interest will pick up, since with it being 27 episodes it'll be able to end off on a good arc right before a big arc, I'd expect it to boost the popularity of the anime, so maybe you'll be able to come back to it later when the show gets more steam, cuz it's legit peak
