Riiiight...so he owns his sport media podcast business with several pro athletes, leads the flagship sports talk show on a famous network, and is WIDELY known for what he does...by accident 🤷🏿♂️...your take was neither right or interesting, just weak and baseless
@@ricosuave953 that’s my point. he doesn’t pay attention enough to actually have great takes, but he does pay attention to the media narratives to subvert them and make a headline
@@jackdriscoll8387I agree completely. I’ve listened to him and literally found myself saying “are you kidding me?” Or “that’s bullshit” out loud to something he said. Not all the time, plus I don’t expect to agree with any sports analyst/podcaster 100%, and he is definitely knowledgeable, but I do think he drops some ridiculous takes just because he knows that fans of said team or player will comment in order to pushback, driving up the engagement. Which, it does work. Last season I recall he had a lot of Purdy takes.. I get that some people were going over the top with comparisons about the kid- but he tried saying that he wasn’t a leader like Hurts because he wears a backwards hat in post-game interviews. That’s when it became very clear to me that it was all for the views; I just can’t really believe the dude really believes that.
