There is a difference between the green window and green shots, high risk high reward will not expand the green window, but within the green window you will make more shots, and yes shots within the "green window" (as per nba2klabs definition) dont always go in. Timing your shot within the green window only gives you a chance of it actually becoming a green shot, I think thats why shooting can feel inconsistent at times, unless you time frame perfect every time. Sorry if nobody asked for these explanations.

I think that was the point of that meter to make it a lil difficult so people don’t rely so much on it and just easily stick dunk

Bruh there is no secrets. All you have to do is look at the leaderboards in proving grounds (that’s where all the sweats are) some of the top players shoot 30-40% from 3. It’s clearly just the way the game is this year. You can time your jumper perfectly and still miss.
