The Seekers have meant so much to me in my 70 year life. This song, which I could only listen to on my old record player in the old days jumps to life in this wonderful performance. Uplifting beyond words. Thank you!
I'm 64 now, ex forces, 4 kids, 3 stepkids, a life almost spent, in a country I can't even recognise, the UK, and a wife that is the love of my life. I would like 'The Carnival is Over' to be played at my funeral but I don't want my wife to cry. I'd rather she be happy. The seekers, especially JD, has been there for all those years. Thank you Seekers. Thank you Judith Durham.
You and me both, mate. Our fine country has gone to ratshit, but the bones of this land are strong. We've always fought the good fight, and I think we will kick back against the current bullshit and show who we are.
what a fantastic band just 4 accoustic dudes but...MUSIC..Judith Durham , such a pure clear voice...Athol Guy ( now theres a name you dont hear every day ! I never believed anyone could be called that. Now I think... Why not? I wonder if they are still seeking?
