I love you Amber , though I have never met you in person, we are connected in that moment we have both had in having to give our precious sons back to God and how it forever changed us!! I thank God every day for using that suffering for good and drawing me near Him. Thank you for these wonderful encouraging words ♥️ BTW, I still remember saying out loud that “I don’t think I can live with this pain for the rest of my life” It has now been 31 years since I buried my son… and God is still enough.

Thank you for taking us along! I don't know if you have heard, but there was a terrible wreck in WI that claimed the lives of 9 people. One victim was a truck driver, and the other 8 were members of a Mennonite community from Burks Garden, Va. That is a little over an hour north of where I live. A 2-year-old in the van survived. There are several articles online about this wreck. It was just awful. I feel we all need to pray for this community and the truck driver's family. Burks Garden is a special place. In my travels I have never saw anything like it anywhere else. The geography alone is just amazing. May God comfort and bless this community with his love and peace. Thank you for this message! The last part about how it may not be here on this earth that we're healed is especially good for many to hear. Not everyone will receive physical healing here on this earth (unlike what the false teachings of the prosperity gospel teaches) but it's the spiritual healing and dependence on God that far outweighs everything. I say this knowing this from personal experience as a woman born with physical disabilities and suffering but so thankful for it because of Jesus and what He has done in my life. Both 2 Corinthians 12:9 as you first mentioned in the beginning and Romans 8:18 "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." have been some of the verses that have brought me comfort knowing that what is coming yet is greater than all my suffering since birth. As you said that doesn't always mean I'm happy in the moment but I do find joy in knowing that He is with me, I am not alone and He will not forsake me.
I am always inspired hearing your family’s testimony of overcoming suffering, I found the smiths and arise with amber at the end of 2021 during the depth of my deepest suffering season, and your words and wisdom have brought so much peace to my heart as I learned the truth of Gods Word, because He used YOU and your family to be a living testimony of His Grace and Love. 15:13 was my favorite part because I also learned that I couldn’t do this life in my own strength, I love 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and had never heard it before (or maybe I had but it never meant anything) until 2021 and my season of suffering.

Yes, I know the feeling of loss 2012. I lost my 25-year-old son to a heart attack and I lost my daughter to the same thing on the same month and day only 5years apart So yes I didn't have the faith I have today but through those years I understood that God was trying to tell me something. No, I didn't understand that at the time but he was trying to bring me to him. He is the Lord of my life now God holds me in his arms and is guiding me through the hards days I know these days have gotten a little easier cuz I have God❤ he helps me through it now. I'm so glad that he holds my heart. I can't do life without God being here for me ❤ I didn't have God long time ago but I finally found him again and he's forgiving me from my sins. Some days are hard still but with God on my side I can't go wrong. My heart hurts for you too Knowing that your son is gone too.He is a cute little guy I always loved watching him in his car 🚜God is holding you in his arms as well. I pray for you to stay strong.🙏 We will see our Lord and Savior someday we also will see our children again. And thank you for your sermon on the Lord, it's nice to have somebody to fellowship with and may God always bless you and your family ❤🙏❤️
