Zal was such an underrated guitarist.

It's 1974 and there are at least a few people in that audience starting to trip and questioning if a SAHB concert was really the best place to drop acid.

We can all see where Gene Simmons got his ideas and moves!

Alex Harvey gone way to soon

Don’t see talent like this anymore.

Saw them when Davie Bachelor was their singer when they were called Tear Gas. Davie stepped aside to manage them when Alex joined. Even before Alex joined they were great when they played the local dance halls. First heard them 1969 playing rockers from The Beatle's White Album that were noted perfect. Alex brought the theatrical element which he named The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

I heard the album Next... when it came out in 73 and was mesmerised. That and The Impossible Dream still remain favourites all these years later. Such a shame we lost Alex so long ago.

They were truly sensational and unique. Thank God how lucky we are to have these brilliant recordings.
