My rough estimate is that over the past ~5 years I've put in more than 2,000 hours in Dead Cells from 1.0 all the way to current patch (which is 3.4 at the time of this posting). I've accomplished some great feats over the years and have made many memories of incredibly exciting moments in playing.
That said, these four minutes are the best four minutes of my entire Dead Cells career. Enjoy.

Here are my personal tips on the techniques and practice I used to get this flawless victory. These are the things that worked for me after many, many attempts and lots of time in the Training Room. All of these except for the last one are subjective but proved to be incredibly helpful during my months-long Lighthouse journey. Long comment incoming! 1.) Don’t actively engage with the Servants on your way up the climb. Skills such as Giant’s Whistle and Lightning Rod are good to get a little extra damage as you’re moving but don’t actually stop to fight. Every single time I had a good build going and tried to do damage during the climb I would get hit. I’m not kidding when I say that more than half of my attempts at a flawless ended within a few seconds of trying to get damage on Calliope. PSA: her first lateral attack can hit twice in a row within a few frames (the second Wrecking Ball hit comes so quickly that it’s not telegraphed) so even with Foresight I would immediately be disqualified. 2.) While climbing try to make your way upward in a zig-zag pattern, going from one side of the screen to the other while moving upward. Don’t stay on one side for too long since some of Calliope’s and Euterpe’s attacks are vertically linear and can punish you for climbing in a straight line. 3.) Dodge roll (in air and on the ground) whenever you see the exclamation point of an attack, when you’re in proximity to a Servant and are going through them, or when Euterpe’s arrows are about to be fired. This will help you avoid some of the more disruptive attacks like Calliope’s diagonal Wrecking Ball attacks. (PS: Devs - can we PLEASE get a Wrecking Ball that works as quickly and as awesomely as hers? There’s Calliope’s Wrecking Ball and the one that we have is the equivalent of “We have Wrecking Ball at home”.) 4.) Avoid ladders and vines as much as you can and go for the rope pulleys to help you up. You have invincibility frames on these so can avoid some damage while you’re on the ropes (you’ll see this happen a few times in the video). Manually climbing ladders and vines slows you down and leaves you open for damage that’s often unavoidable in those situations. 5.) Practice the hell out of the Servants in the Training Room. My advice is to make a build of your single color of choosing (e.g., all purple items with no dual-scaling) and then use the scroll machines to pump the other two colors up to 45 scrolls for a TON of HP. Keep your main stat low, put the Servants on a moderate biome level for scaling, and then put in reps just dodging their attacks (e.g., 45-10-45 for a Tactics build). All three Servants will be attacking at the same time but you’ll have plenty of HP to be a damage sponge. Once you are comfortable with dodging their attacks you can start using your weapon of choice to do some light damage and eventually finish the fight. Do this until you know all of their tells and can manage having two Servants attacking at once. You will be doing light damage so when you’re playing for real and have a good build with synergies their HP will fall way more quickly than expected and you’ll feel more confident based on the relative damage between the chunks you can get in a real run and the slivers you get in the Training Room. 6.) This is also just a general Dead Cells tip, but put together your build with items you are completely comfortable with that can roll +% damage synergies with one another. For skills, prioritize extra damage and other buffs instead of items like Ice Armor or Foresight/Diverse Deck. In my opinion, this entire experience is all about quick decisions and evasion during the climb, and having a deep understanding of each individual Servant’s mechanics during the fights. Having things like Corrupted Power, Smoke Bomb, Grappling Hook, etc., are more beneficial than having an item slot dedicated to preventing a single hit during the 3-5 minute fight. (This piece of advice comes with the caveat of knowing the experience and having a complete understanding of how much it sucks to get hit one single time during the climb, or to take 7 HP worth of BS damage from the very tip of the flames’ hitbox). 7.) Most importantly (seriously), BREATHE. Deep breaths. You’ll see me pause at the beginning of the video before I even move. I knew going into this fight that I had a great chance of finally getting the flawless based on how my build was put together and the synergies I had purposely rolled. I took a few seconds to breathe and center myself so I could leave my anxious monkey brain at the bottom of the climb. While I was so frazzled after actually getting the win that my adrenaline finally surged and I anxiously picked up the Oil Grenade and looked at Maw of the Deep for no other good reason, I used little pockets of time to take a deep breath during death animations and the transitions before/after each fight. As you take an intentional breathe, deeply inhale for a few seconds and then slowly exhale for a little longer; if you can, breathe in to the count of three and breathe out to the count of five. Having a longer exhale calms the parasympathetic nervous system and can help decrease heart rate and improve focus. Deep and deliberate breathing like this is also a great thing to employ in your non-Dead Cells life but works very well for Big Time Situations like this. 8.) LOL, legendary Pistol and Tesla Coil. Good luck out there!

PS! The Servants don't have the usual 15% damage cap, so having single heavy hits and extra flat % damage buffs are more beneficial here than other boss fights. You can see this during the solo Calliope fight where the pistol takes of ~40% of her health per hit.

Yeah, thank you! This build was so broken. It felt great to stroll in like this after so many failed attempts.

been playing dead cells for 75 hours for the last month. I unfortunately do not have any of the paid dlc so all i can do is watch other people play. with that said, i think i can still 5bc! And maybe someday get all the dlc and finally fight against the Servants
@DisappointedGiant

You can definitely still get 5BC without any of the paid DLC, so you're good there. 75 hours is a lot of time, that's great. Best of luck with your runs!

I don't remember specifics but I took the highest scroll route and also got some challenge rifts and extra cursed chest. I got VERY lucky this run.

do you HAVE to get flawless on the chase part aswell ? or just the last part where the 3 of them fight you ?
@DisappointedGiant
@DisappointedGiant Год назад
Unfortunately... yes. You have to flawless the whole chase up the Lighthouse and all of the fights to get the achievement and outfit.
@evilwishing

@@DisappointedGiant mann i'm gonna be restarting for atleast 3 hours, i only have 3 more bosses to flawless and i can't seem to find the right way to go during the chase part
@DisappointedGiant
@DisappointedGiant Год назад
@@evilwishing Oh yeah, it's brutal! IMO the chase is the worst part since even one tick of damage from the fire at the bottom invalidates the flawless. I'm also pretty sure that the generation of the Lighthouse is random. I found that it was best to zig zag up the tower and to use the pulleys as much as possible to avoid the Servants' attacks. I wrote out some extra tips in the pinned comment here; #1 - #4 talk about how I did the climb. It gets tough, but you got this!
