@@GoldhollowStudios here’s the thing hawk End of series’s kinda would be a decent member of the 7D sins at the start. Hawk gets a power level of 1080 a 640 physical and 440 magic. That puts hawk high mid Holy knight level - like only knights we know are like Gilthunder + slayer and up level - most knights we see Hawk would beat.. remember Ban was only 3200 at the start to put that in perspective. Also hawks mom was literally Chaos - a more pure form of what took over Arthur. So she pretty much solo’s

@@theninjabird9510 nah ban>Merlin>>Escanor. The demon king was toying with Escanor and even put his sword away to make it a bit fun. Ban was holding back against demon king meliodas and still winning until the demon king started playing dirty and using the fact that he refused to hurt meliodas.

same goes with gowther where his invasion power literally have a lot of potential but because of plot they have to limit him like a lot. It's a shame they gave gowther a power that ignores strength, magic, and spirit level but not to use it against super powerful enemies

7DS was never a bad show. The biggest problem was how the anime adapted S3 and beyond.

The anime adaptations certainly didn’t do it any justice. And you have to consider that whilst manga is without a doubt popular how the anime adapts it will formulate a lot of peoples viewpoints on the series because whether people like to admit it or not anime is vastly more popular than manga. It’s how a series can break into the mainstream and 7DS 1st and 2nd seasons did it that.

Two bad the first two seasons all the only “good” ones, it use to be my favorite anime for multiple years.

Its difficult to start anime late since if you started any time after the year 2000 you'd have stuff to catch up on

That was an weaker version of Demon King amd Ban still couldn't win. Prime Demon King (in Zeldris's body) was destroying Ban, King and base/demon mark Meliodas together. Ban is overall on the level of base Escanor and base Meliodas. He is much weaker than them at full power. He is easily stronger than Merlin tho..

Base Escanor got slammed by the original demon who got slammed by mael who got slammed by the demon king, and ban can go “toe to toe with the demon king on his own” as said by Ludociel. Ban is unironically closer to the level of meliodas in his assault mode at the end of the series and Escanor in the one than he is to king or Merlin’s power.

@@xsnipermattymacx you scaling is just bad. You are talking about exhausted base Escanor, lol. Against Original Demon he was barely able to stay in his day form, The Night was summoned too, lol. Also, Ban was only on the level of Demon King in Meliodas's body, and that is not prime Demon King, he didn't regain his prime power and youth at that time. Demon King also had problems with Meliodas inside his head. I'm talking about full power base Escanor and other versions of Escanor from final battle. Base Escanor stopped Demon King's sword attack with his bare hand and pushed him back, he did some damage too, he also appeared so fast that no one could see him. Mael was afraid to even try to fight while knowing that noon is approaching, he said that Demon King is scary and stuff like that. Base Escanor, King and Ban together couldn't really do much against prime Demon King. They did little better with base Escanor than with base Meliodas, but prime Demon King was still destroying them. The One Escanor alone was equal to Demon King and The One Ultimate Escanor completely overpowered him. Ban is overall easily stronger than characters like King, Mael, Ludociel and Merlin, he is around the level of base Escanor and base/demon mark Meliodas (post purgatory), that is still crazy strong, but he is nowhere near characters like The One Escanor and prime Demon King..

Merlin is strange because although this is true she also had the power to restore the curses on Meliodis and Elizabeth

You cannot really base her scaling on her expression as she was always neither blank or unreadable. And once she is, her true motive never lies on her facial expression. Merlin having endless potential literally opens endless possibilities for her. If ever, she cannot really be scaled. The author literally defined her as a “cheat”.

Same. Everything about the SDS is absolute gold. The characters. The plot. The emotional moments. The Love stories. The messages. It's peak anime in my opinion.

I'll admit it has flaws, but so do many other popular manga, nothing is perfect

@@nikkigeffen7010 because she quite literally couldnt wait a day. she used up all of her energy in the holy war and was about to die by time ban got there. if ban didnt show up she would have either just died to using up all of her energy or the like 20 demons that were around her as she was passing out would have killed her. the rest of the fairies were worthless so theres 0 chance they were killing all those demons.

the one ultra escanor was barely able to fight zeldris demon king which was stated to be WEAKER than the meliodas vessel demon king. ban is literally just beating up escanor. and even if you dont believe that then shall i remind you that ban can steal 50% of escanors physical power with hunter fest AND rip out escanors heart. or maybe i should mention how ban has zero sign which makes him completely undetectable EVEN WHILE HES TOUCHING YOU. he uses it against the commandments. he literally can just use zero sign steal half ur power then rip ur heart out and youll never know where he was.

@blazedj Yup thats why i was kinda confused as to why TWC mentioned power levels. Doesn't Drole's dance technically allow Dianne to infinitely stack her power level? Merlin ended with one of the lowest power levels but was IMO the most overpowered character in terms of abilities.

escanor doesnt do really ANYTHING at all to suggest hes on meliodas's level. ban also does MORE damage to the demon king than escanor and doesnt even use a single one of his abilities to do it. he could use hunters fest and steal half of escanors power and just rip his heart out. king is also beating up escanor and ban but thats an argument for another day.

"The One Ultra" escanor was just a failed attempt at making escanor as strong as all of the other sins. not only is he weaker but all of his abilities are pretty garbage whilst the 3 sins above him have arguably the 2 best kits in the entire series. almost all of the top 3 but meli doesnt cut it..the only reason meli doesnt make top 3 is because chandler has all of his abilities and more except for 1000 divine cuts which is op but not good enough. chandler can literally use absolute cancel and shit. op.

I cover sds content on my channel I like the series and yeah, it has clear flaws, but almost every manga series does the weird censorship was a studio thing... I don't know why The Grudge movie PLOT is good, a prelude to the sequel coming up in October

probably because her best feats are against like fucking chandler and cusak whilst melidoas ban king and escanor were onpar with the demon king himself. keep in mind she was only onpar with chandler/cusak after A LOT of prep time and only did anything to them because of that prep time and escanor literally being a human shield for like an hour straight while merlin did testing. put her in a 1v1 aginst king ban meli or escanor and shes getting blitzed and one shot so quick.

we'd need to see more feats from merlin to put her above people that are demon-king level. putting her above ban is fair

@@nathangaspacio6128 what??? ban fought the strongest version of the demon king we ever see on near equal footing without using ANY of his abilities. base ban is relative to the strongest version of the demon king and he can use fox hunt and just steal half of the demon kings strength. why cant we put merlin higher because of her lack of DK level feats but we can put her above ban who is above most forms of the DK IN BASE FORM.

My memory is foggy considering 7DS but I think they said Mael/Berserk Estarossa is around 200k+ and King defeated him so he should be over 200k at least

I know it kinda means the same thing as 50k+ but Diane at full power is definetly in the 150-200k power level range.

i'd say ban is probably stronger than merlin though. Merlin scales below the original demon, while ban scales to demon king controlled melodas
