I found it interesting when you hear the argument if someone is "born gay" (the liberal definition of gay). and people spend a lot of time on it back and forth. but my thought is people are born sinners.. so I can agree with someone who says they are born gay. but just a different perspective on what that means. just like what a rainbow flag means...one may see it as gay (liberal definition) pride, or I may see it as a sign that God won't wipe out totally depraved man again, till the eschaton I guess. the words will and grace might mean something completely different to me then another person. I like how machen points out the liberalisation of words and the confusion it brings. I could see the word progressive being completely opposite of how a liberal may define it these days. but I suppose you could say Christians have changed meaning of words from some of their pagan origins. Like when I say july I don't really think it has much to do with ceasar.
