@@Locutus I mean i notice a lot that a common example barbara uses is that she feels like she is back in that second grade or something, listening, trying her best to keep up just to be lost and struggling to manage it. maybe she needs to be emotionally invested and divoted into the company that she fully understands.
@@Coachlen24 He isn't their leader, but Mark is easily the most successful of all the sharks up there. It makes sense that people would take him for his word because his bank account proves that how he does business is usually right.
Fried Green Tomato products are sold online and in select grocers in 48 states and Canada. There are plans of opening a brick and mortar store in the first half of 2022 and sales are averaging about a million dollars annually
I'm so glad they're doing so well. But Barbara has the upper hand with similar businesses in her portfolio, Cousin's Maine Lobster, Pork Barrel BBQ, Tom and Chee, Press Waffles, and others. And they have already exceeded their Shark Tank valuation in one years worth of sales! A winner for sure!
Is this the best version of Barbara I have ever seen on the show? Probably yes! She is the best salesperson out of any shark ever, there are the memes of course and she is out most of the time but boy when she wants something she GOES for it
Daymond didn't wanna buy it. He just wanted to see if he can make Barbera reduce her equity by competition. If she had shown a little bit of interest on Daymond, then am sure Barb would have dropped 5%.
Mark has more money than all the others combined. This is a perfect example that it’s not about the money for him, just about helping smart entrepreneurs realize their dreams, whether through him or not.
i 100% agree with Barbara this business is scalable on two fronts and the restaurateur has real experience and sales background i do expect to see franchises of her concept...we all do not eat out for health benefits but for something different and sometimes its southern food.. cant wait to give it a try...L.A Rob
Yeah, Barbara gives a lot of deals .. besides Lori and Mark. The only reason the meme exist is because Barbara would sound like she's about to make an offer then actually says she's out.. which is why I think people meme her
One thing I like about Shark Tank is the other Sharks seem to encourage people that come in to go for certain Sharks. It's like they always want a fellow Shark to make a deal.
Barbara saw the potential from the start and knew this concept would work. Damon couldn’t see it from the start until barbara made an offer, bc he doesn’t have the business experience that she does. And when he saw make an offer, he second guessed himself and jumped back on. Shows the diff in business experience with food and franchising.
" The deal with Barbara never closed. Holly faced a lot of issues during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic but she made her way through it. In June, 2021, she announced the opening of a brick and mortar “drive-in lunch spot” in Lebanon, TN would be opening “soon.” As of January, 2022, the brick and mortar store has yet to open. Annual revenue is less than $1 million."
I would have said deal as soon as Barbara finished. Barbara has the expertise and the owner has the work ethic to bring the business to the goal she desires. Good deal
This lady is honestly a born salesperson... she was rejected back to back yet her smile didnt go an inch down.. not showing distress on rejection A HUNDRED!
OMG I thought she was going to bail on barbara! Nothing better than having Shark Tank and your website and painted on your FOOD TRUCK when you park it ANYWHERE
Mr. Wonderful's anger management classes did not help him. I love Shark Tank and Mister Wonderful but do the producers pay him a bonus when he says something rude ?
I'm sure the woman has watched shark tank before. She said she was coming to get Barbara. She knows that Barbara has already done the food truck franchise model with Cousins Maine Lobster and blew it up. Has nothing to do with being racist. Geez.
She's a staple at our county fair. She's not lying when she says they'll line up for hours to get the food. The BLFGT is friggin amazing. (Or whatever the heck she calls it. It's a blt with fried green tomatoes lol)
Her smile and enthusiasm alone are worth millions ..the south may have racists from all races but she breaks that mold in her attitude ..you see people can act fake their smile can't
From someone in Nashville, I can say there is nothing else like it around here even with "all the food trucks" like Kevin said. That's why people wait.
She may have been perceived as a threat by a higher-up, or simply disliked by someone high up. After working 40 plus years in the corporate business fields, I've seen it and experienced it. It's actually unfortunately common.
