Happy Father’s Day! Working today but it’s a joy so it’s all good. Traveling home and when I get home got new shave gear waiting to be opened. It’s gonna be a good day.

Happy Father's Day. Workout, then bbq rack of ribs and fry up 3lbs of shrimp. Indirectly learned - was to give 110% at everything I do in life.

Barry, I really enjoyed your series here on the Ethernet. It reminded me of my Dad, who used to share his hobby of woodworking with me in the basement whenever he could get me to stand still for more than a split second. He was also into photography, and the days we spent in his darkroom developing negatives and prints were some of the best days I remember. Thanks for making me think of him. Great RU-vid series.

Happy Father's Day to all! 🙂 Bary, a Great Shave for a Great Series. Barbasol was a staple in my father's medicine cabinet along with his Gillette Fatboy. I love the scent and on bi-weekly use the Barbasol Shave Cream in a tube along with Barbasol's Aftershave Balm in a tube in my rotation. The cream is actually much better than the foam and the balm is really good too. I have great memories of my dad and he worked hard as a barber 5 days a week, 10 hour days. He owned his own shop. On his day off and occasionally on Sundays he would go to the homes of sick and infirmed customers and cut thier hair. He would give haircuts to guys who had lost their jobs and tell them they could repay him later when they got back on their feet. Those memories stayed with me the most and helped shaped me to who I am today. He was my hero.

Happy Father's day! Texan. I, love the whole theme you have going on your shave. My dad loves Gillette Foamy, Stetson aftershave & cologne and he shaved with a Gillette Black Beauty. He never used an aftershave balm. He likes Old Milwaukee, Schlitz, Hamms and PBR.

By the way. My father was a work a holic. He put in for as much overtime as he could. Every time that I run short on cash I think about how hard my father worked so that we never went without. Now I’m a father and I would do a lot for my son. Even when I want to stay home with him I remember how hard my dad worked and how pocket lint doesn’t buy groceries

I find canned goo dries out my face. I didn’t know that until I switched to artisan soaps that have great post shave properties.

About the only thing I learned from my sperm donor was everything not to do. Don't abuse people, especially women. Don't drink any liquor that is brown (the only time I've ever sounded close to it was when I would drink brown liquor), don't take people's time for granted and be visible (nothing like seeing it go from one corner of the United States to the other...and than being forced to move because it decided they were moving back to the other corner permanently). He refused to show me how to do anything, never said he was proud of any of his kids, thought money could buy everything and as long as the public persona (was one of the tops in the local union) was fine you can do anything in private and get away with it (and would have had my mom not had the foresight to tape record his antics when drunk). No coaching, no working on a car, hated that I didn't like fishing to the degree he did. In fact the only time I was useful to him was when he needed my money to exist. My sperm donor is why I know I will be a pathetic father if hell ever hits 0 Kelvin, I had 0 male influences to live by until it was way too late. I wish I could appreciate Father's Day but for me it's in the bottom 3 days of the year. I envy anyone who actually had a father because I sure didn't.
