The Shelf Road to Cripple Creek, CO 

Shelf and Phantom will always be my favorite stretches of road. Most beautiful scenery I've seen in my life. Going through the old tunnels in the mountains and looking over the edge and seeing a 500ft drop; there's just nothing in this world that can compare those roads

Brought back memories. Drove this back in about 1998 with my wife and two 10 year old girls in a Lincoln Navigator..lol..that truck felt soooo big on that little path. At one point on the girls was crying in fear.

probably the most dangerous use of a motocycle sidecar i've ever seen in my life. wow standing up was epic

Ended up on shelf road on accident. Google said it was a “short cut”. All of a sudden the paved road ends and my husband and I were WTF!!! 😂🤣😂😂 I was pregnant and terrified. It’s beautiful though and amazing

I've driven that road in an old VW van. There were places which I have to say, scared me! I prayed the whole time there wouldn't be a vechicle coming from the opposite direction.

Drove this road way back in 1980 in a Pick Up....want to ride it on my Dual Sport Yamaha tw200 before my Bucket List gets a hole in it...
