REAL LIFE FACT: For the construction of the gun, the US wanted something multirole: a gun-missile-launcher for their Shillelagh missiles (or something like that). This was done to avoid having to mount an entirely separate missile launcher. i once had a game with the sheridan where i died and somehow glitched out the map i was on 4.8k damage and then the glitch pushed me back into the map so fast that i hit an enemy player with my sheridans dead body and instantly killed him and guess what i got more damage for that somehow😅
