15:52 The one you’ve all been waiting for. Ah… The hour of execution is almost here. For the sinner, the curtain call has come. I know I may not sound it but... Faced with death, I find myself a little afraid. Perhaps... This is one thing both gods and humans have in common. Hehe. Farewell, Neuvillette.. I hope you enjoyed the part you played these five hundred years. *All’s Well That Ends Well…* 🌊
@@koreanpandas It wasn't really that random if you think about it. Since this was "all a performance" with Furina and the rest as actors in a stage play, that was just the last dance of the "final act" of the performance.
Whoever named sinner's finale 15:52 as "Tout est bien qui finit bien" shouldve given a raise! Romance without words.. "All's Well That Ends Well" indeed
@@Shortness. Thats Trivia to Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well Literally All's Well That Ends Well means forget about how unpleasant or difficult something was because everything ended in a good way And connect it with shakespeare, if you read the summary. Basically helena, did everything to win over Bertram (Fake her own death, ring swap, loyalty and love). So bertram, impressed by all she has done to win him, swears his love to her. Thus all ends well. Similar to Focalor and Furina; Enduring the pain of act for 500 years (Furina) Focalor's sacrifice, returning Neuvillette's power (full dragonhood), saving Fontaine people and fulfilled their wish to be human. Neuvillette, impressed by all she has done to him, swears his loyalty to fontaine people (and maybe fall for her). All the hardship and sadness finally paid off. the propechy adverted, fontainian is fully human, freedom for everyone. Thus T"out est bien qui finit bien" = All's well that ends well
“Thank you Furina, for all you’ve done. From this moment on, please live happily as a human, just as I wished we could” “I Iudex Neuvillette, hereby declare: People of Fontaine your sins are forgiven!”
Fun Fact: Its French title is derrived from one of Shakespeare's plays that portrays lie, trickery, and dishonesty. Which means all of these things will end peacefully.
@@goodman_22and all of her constellation name come from old piece quotes like these that has inspired her character. I remember her C6 because its a tragedy about a person who has to pay the ultimate price for everyone.
23:01 Finally... I know it's just Springvale's theme, but this version mixes the few different existing versions And that cutscene... It was my first ever Genshin event and it was so beautiful
so that's why it sounded something i've heard from mondstadt. it's been a long time since i last went to springvale. maybe it's time to buy some holy water again XD
6:14 & 7:45 & 13:20 I cried as a Childe main. Congrats to Childe, probably the only character that has the most theme or iterations of themes (just a guess).
@@Deltakryzz Not a competition, but how many? Childe currently has 9: A letter From a Far, Letter from Ajax, these 3, 3 of his boss themes, All-Conquering Tide.
@@PhuongNguyen-_- not including version trailer themes, Scaramouche/Wanderer has: Ominous Fandango Unpredicted Conspiracy Hyakuin of Blossoming Mirage Moment of Tribulation His 3 boss-related themes Trifaria Conscientia All in One, All in Vain His demo and teaser themes And Heart of Yuugen. So he currently has 12. I don't know if his cutscene in 4.8(the last song in this disc) has any of his motifs though so it *might* be 13. As for Childe, he actually has 12 too, so they pretty much have the same amount in hindsight lol. You forgot to include From Snezhnaya With Boldness, Unexpected Savior(his first cutscene), and Foul Legacy(story quest cutscene)
16:25 “Farewell Neuvillette. I hope you enjoyed the part you played these 500 years.” What a beautiful yet sad dance. Focalors/Furina’s story of sacrificing themselves for their nation and ideals of justice was really amazing and I’m excited to see what sort of stories will be written in Natlan.
I'm here to die that 15:52 Thank you for this pain 😭 Why you have to name this song "All's well that ends well"? Thank you for another Shakespeare reference, but this is so ironic 😭😭😭 How I'm gonna move on from Focalors. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
The 18:00 mark is one of the most memorable soundtrack moments of this entire list. I vividly remember this part immediately when this le motif comes in with the vocals
Translation for the French titles : #1 : "The fantastical night" #3 : "No two di Rosula e Candela", or "Steps of two di Rosula e Candela" #9 : "The interrupted confession" #11 : "The neither human nor divine comedy" #12 : "All's well that ends well" #14 : "The bright sky she'd dreamed of"
As a French person, the translation seems a bit awkward. At first, dreamed is supposed to be translated to "songé" so they forgot the accent. Then it would have been better if it was "Le ciel clair dont elle avait songé" cause' it sounds way more correct in french
OH!!!! This is an _extremely_ pleasant surprise before going to be, I've been needing to hear the part at 5:30 for FOREVERRR, that was SUCH a fun intro to Clorinde's character and fighting style... Oracle of Deep Waters, too... the part from 11:44 onward was always my absolute FAVOURITE every time I rewatched the cutscene. Sheathes of Void was the final one I'd been waiting for, I LOVE when they do more techno-ambient atmospheric pieces like that... And of course, the "Sinner's Finale" and getting to hear the triumphant recapitulation of the Fontaine theme as Furina walks out into the world she saved... everyone's already mentioned them but it's SO great to be able to listen to those, even though we've probably all by now memorized the character dialogue in each of these, haha~
Your music is so grand! Thank you so much for making it available here but also on Spotify, appreciate you always uploading it and also creating classical beauty~
ah good. now instead of seeing Tails in a flooded and destroyed Station Square, now ill just burst into uncontrollable tears every time i hear "All's well that ends well."
I'll always remember the fact that Focalors was so lonely that she wanted to talk to lyney (when he got into the basement), but he ran away scared. That probably was her only chance out of loneliness, but oh well. She got it at the end of her time tho :")
tout est bien qui finit bien, the ost that plays in the sinner's finale cutscene (focafuri death dance/nusan delivering judgement to fontaine), which roughly tls to "all's well that ends well" a play by shakespeare but ALSO THE FACT ITS UNDER DISC TWO WHICH IS TITLED ROMANCE WITHOUT WORDS IM GOIGN INSANEEEEE NEUVIFURI REALLL "its not that deep the disc is named romance without words bc of callirhoe" i do not care
Girl the two don't have a relationship like they're barely colleagues 😭 They canonly have always stayed in their own role without relying on each other or venting in any way. Among all characters of Fontaine they're the two who are the less intimate with each other y'all are always reaching so farrr to ship something straight (also the fact that neuvilette acts as an authority figure with her is NOT romance goal)
@@Yukyouz It's fine to not ship it but don't deny their bond. Also Neuvillette only acted authoritative in Court, outside of it, it seems he doesn't do much about Furina's actions. The fight they had, Furina was the one in the end pulling her Authority card.
@@Yukyouz I'll keep it short. If they didn't, Then I see no reason why they had to add certain dialogues to show that they understand each other and also care for one another.
For some reason, the first track kinda reminds me of diabolic waltz from Black Butler. The one track with Pas De Deux is prolly a direct reference to Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and Focalors' death theme being a reference to a Shakespearean work is awesome.
This is the kind of music I'll never forget until the day I die. Honestly I'm literally just sitting here bawling my eyes out at the Fontaine Archon Quest sections. Gaaaaaaahhhhhdddd
although I'm still very far from Fontaine because I only started playing genshin for a couple of months, but... I already miss Fontaine. But I want to thank you for all your work and these beautiful characters with unique stories. This music literally conveys their feelings. Residents of Fontaine, your sins are forgiven❤️ 🌊🌀
15:52. Ah...the hour of my execution has come. I know I may not sound it but, faced with death I find myself a little afraid. Maybe this is something both humans and gods have in common. Farewell Neuvillette, I hope you enjoyed the part you played, *these 500 years.*
28:11 HOYOOOOOO!! WHY WAS THE INSTRUMENTAL THE ONLY ONE INCLUDED HERE? WHERE'S ITTO AND PAIMON??? At least release the 4 versions in a single like what you did with HSR's White Night 😭😭😭😭
