The Ships of Naval Action The Constitution 

Served on the Constitution in the 1980's, she was launched in 1797. Her copper plating was provided by Paul Revere, the very same that did the midnight ride. Beautiful ship.

i believe the cannon balls that bounced that gave her the nickname was from closer range where they should have penetrated. But the live oak frame and planking was too much for the British guns to pen and they just bounced off.

Yep., the Conny Is a great ship....that still exists today....I dunno how much of the original is still afloat but the ship is still serviceable and is still part of the Us Navy. Nice, no other Navy has one from those days that is still afloat.

I had a Constitution I won from a NA photo competition. It had a very high level (orange) and I armed it with long guns. I had so much fun with and sunk many larger ships. However after months of fun with this ship, some NPC fleet approached me very fast. I couldn't escape. When the battle started, I was unfairly surrounded by the entire fleet and sunk within a minute. I became so angry I lost my best ship because of an unfair NPC system that I deleted NA and no longer wants play it. Unless the devs give me my Constitution and its long guns back. NA is supposed to be ''realistic'', but how can it be realistic if a battle starts with already being surrounded?
