My dad was a theatrical agent and booked Jim a number of times, he was always nervous before going on stage and always asked if he was OK when he finished, he was a wonderful guy, so down to earth and never a "look at me I'm a star" air about him. So glad I met you Jim RIP
I watched Bullseye every Sunday with my mum and my eyes were filling up watching this great tribute to the down to earth Jim Bowen. My mum passed away in 2004 and was emotional watching for them both. What great memories to make you weep.❤️👍
I remember Jim when he worked as resident compere at the Broadwayy Morecambe in the late 60s. Just one of the lads,nice man and a good friend at that time.
A genius and true gentleman he bought my mum and dad a bottle of champagne to celebrate there 25 th wedding anniversary in a club a true class act from a class guy RIp Jim 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏🎤
Jim was an northern treasure,when we were in our late twenties early thirties we would be on the lash sunday early doors then back to the gaff to party and watch a bit of bully on telly. Happy days.

Lovely man will be sadly missed I still watch Bull Eye to this day on challenge watched it with my mum when I was 7 years old every Sunday those were the days 68 now sleep in peace Jim Bowen 🙏
We can only surmise if people would behave now had the police handled hate marches differently for the last 9 months knowing that there would be severe penalties for bad and hateful rhetoric used on UK streets by protesters.
