Adam Lambert I'm addicted to him.....enjoy listening him with high and not so high notes.........but this Vanessa... what a voice and power...have to know her better
He is able to sing lower notes than Vanessa. In addition, Adam really has an unusual vocal skill and technique. One of Adam's strengths is that he can mix across his range perfectly. His voice is fuller and richer in the High notes. Most male singers use head voice and falsetto more on the higher notes, and this makes their voice thinner and less dense. Besides, nobody can do Riffs and overdrive like Adam. Another advantage of Adam is the versatility, Adam is able to sing in various musical styles like lyrical (classical music) "Brigadoon", Dance music "Lay me Down", Funk and Jazz music, Pop, Underground Rock "Citizen Vein", Rock (Led Zepplin, Queen, Rolling Stones , Aerosmith, Elvis Presley) and many others ...
Children A picture is worth a thousand words. I would like the unbiased analysis of all of you through "audio spectral information", like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OFV1deEbOQw.html (Spanish language only) Or this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-54qd1KkKRCI.html (with subtitles) For your general culture I comment that this scientific method is 100% more precise and infallible to corroborate the correct way of singing and the use of all kinds of techniques, and infinity of resources, Much better than placing a camera in the throat I look forward to the link from all of you, that will demonstrate How far you are from the truth
RyderC Daniels well sohyangs a vocal goddess, no one can really touch her. So I tend to not include her with 'everyone' or the majority or humans generally
There is no comparison between Vanessa and Adam Lambert. Vanessa has more weapons as a singer than anybody I have ever heard. Massive power, vocal range not of this earth (47 notes in 13 seconds), she sings all kinds of music Rock, pop. R&B, Jazz, Blues, soul, & Gospel. Can hold a note longer than anybody (22 seconds on Sun's Up) and 26.9 seconds on Heroes live forever). My favorite singer of them all.
Wow one is my favorite male belter and the other is my fave female belter. So hard to choose. But I guess I will have to go with Vanessa. Her belts are so metalic and great. Btw Adam belted up to Bb5 so you could make his range for the vid Bb4-Bb5
His lack of ease is due to carrying up chest. He said himself he wants to bring "power vocals to pop" which is fancy for he carries chest to the max above C5.
That would be way too close of a comparison for her. If you’re gonna use his highest note, then you’d have to put him against a woman like Rachelle Ferrell (E6 belt) or Park Kiyoung (F6 belt).
Rafael Araújo holy mother of god. I bet she could go longer but for her to go from like B4 to F#5 or so with 25 seconds and maintain that sound. Legend.
I guess... I get why she lipped it, though. Olympics are a huge deal and she was only 17 (18?) when she had to perform that song for Sydney's opening ceremony...
You could have gone higher, she's hit c#6 so many times now and I know that he's capable of going alot higher. There is no winner in this. You're comparing a man and a woman. He's a very good male singer and she's a very good female singer. She's one my my fave females and he's good friends with another of my faves ,Nikka Costa. I hope one day that he and Vanessa do a duet because it'd be wild.
The fact that she's a Falcon Soprano gives her a huge advantage. Falcon Soprano's usually have a well structured voice. From the lowest part of their range, to their highest. (Depends on how good their technique is). But have to say that Adam is an impressive vocalist with great high belts.
Comparing a countertenor who stops supporting pass A4 to a falcon soprano who supports C6 is simply a massacre lol even vocal control, Vanessa nailed Adam Lambert to the ground. Her agility in the upper fifth octaves is simply astounding and her support up to D3 blows Adam out of the water. Plus, she's not straining with that heavy amounts of distortion in her voice 🔥🔥🔥
1.Define what you mean by support(people are never consistent with what they mean by that) .. because if you mean maintaining control of air flow then Adams better then her... alot better, her vibrato is inconsistent and can turn into and uneven wobble( see 2:30) which is caused by uneven air flow..... or if you mean using proper placement then Adan is again significantly better then her.. this video is comparing their voices two and a half steps apart (e.i g4 vs c5) to compensate for comparing to people of different voice types .. yet Adams placement is still better then hers on the same note. look at his c5 vs hers, his is open and controlled ( see 4:00) while hers is pushed and dull sounding because of tongue tension( see 1:05). 2 .i'm assuming you meant c6 considering she doesn't sing a d3 or d6 in this video but anyway she is incredibly talented considering what she manages to do with her voice even with all the voice problems .. (i.e inconsistent air flow and tension) however you are mistaken about what is style vs technique...its simple if the singer can sing with or without it then it is an artistic choice (e.i singing with or without distortion) if they cannot stop then its a technical problem like Camila Cabello's nasality or.. Vanessas distortion . Adam can make is voiced sound however he wants from extreme levels of distortion to bel canto.. Vanessa can't .. i'm not hating on her btw i love her voice but adam lambert is a master at vocal technique ...you can prefer her voice but adam consistently gives perfect vocals there is no comparing the two
Regardless of the high notes that Adam achieves, it is important to realize the quality of his voice in the high notes. He has a lot of technique, he uses a lot of mixed voice, he also has a strong and penetrating head voice, which, like the rest of his track, he has excellent dynamics and control. Oh, and without forgetting that Belting is a technical marvel of Adam! And I say again: Adam is a TENOR and Vanessa a soprano. It is not a very common comparison to make. It's like comparing Luciano Pavarotti to Montserrat Caballé... Ideally, a female soprano should be compared to another female soprano, such as Vanessa x Mariah Carey.
He simply can't match her uniqueness of sound. She has that 'electric guitar' thing going on. Besides, no matter how high men belt they always tend to sound less impressive than their female counterparts.
SKMRify give him a break dude he has the vocal ranges of the angels clearly u haven't cleaned your ears btw it's more harder for males to sing but I'm not saying that your idol isn't good I mean all of us have opinions and I'll stick to mines thank you very much
Whatever his vocal range, male vocalists are boring. And she actually starts to sound like an electric guitar after about E5. That makes her the most unique belter in mainstream music.
Adam is a lyrical tenor with a multi-octave voice ... It's not just the range of the high notes that needs to be analyzed, but the breadth of vocal range along the scale ... Adam is fantastic.
Vanessa is a spinto soprano leaning towards dramatic and she actually can keep up with Adam on lows. She's pretty solid down to B2 and actually has G2. All in all I'd say they're pretty evenly matched throughout their entire ranges.

@@cko1005 I'm not saying they have the same range, Vanessa is also just as versatile as Adam, minus the classical and theatre, which she has never been interested in, so that doesn't really count, she sings Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Funk, Dance, Blues and can also alter the timbre and cleanliness of every aspect of her voice at will, as well as being just as agile as Adam, her riffs are insanely fast, possibly as fast as Mariah. Vanessa has an insanely developed voice WITHOUT formal vocal coaching. She is a formidable vocalist just like Adam, I would call them pretty equal in skill.
@@ZacharyT94 Okay. I just think it's weird that people compare a tenor to a soprano. In addition, the male phonetic apparatus is different from the female. There's no denying it. But both have great vocal skills and techniques.
@@cko1005 I'll agree there, I'm a fan of both of them actually for different reasons. Male and female voices are indeed quite different and comparing both isn't going to be easy due to different anatomy.
Not true he's a leggero tenor, or maybe even contra tenor. He'd probably go to C6 as an alto. I've hit a C7, there's no point lol. Stay below G6 mostly for your own health.

@@pankakesnotstellar yes lol. If talking about technique, Vanessa wins by a landslide. And Adam losing support at A4 and even struggling at G4. Vanessa's consistency is miles ahead. B2-C6 is a very good supported range for a Falcon zz.
I think Vanessa won. Close battle over all. Adams videos seemed underwhelming for the higher notes, his performance on American Idol Born to be wild at the end of the performance. Also Vanessa seemed to merely progress as the notes raise.
Rafael Araújo fair enough, it was just a suggestion regardless. You're really great with these matchups it's always fair and evenly matched. Props to you sir.
It would be great to compare their whole ranges... Vanessa has some supported d3 and some pretty strong b2s... She has gone as low as a f2. She could stand a chance against Adam.
Check out Adam's performance on The Zodiac Show (1) Adam Lambert - The Zodiac Show - Crawl Thru Fire - RU-vid. Vanessa Amorosi is great, but I'm in love with Adam Lambert and his fantastic voice :)
