Declan Bogue joined Wedesnday's OTBAM to discuss the current problems engulfing Antrim GAA. Pictures were circulated on social media of a dilapidated Casement Park with little news on the progress of its redevelopment.
He also highlighted the low player participation levels in football and hurling across Belfast city and the struggles the county faces in the future.

It will probably go ahead now since the judicial review was dismissed,but the GAA could have made it a lot easier,if they built it like Pairc Ui Chaoimh with mostly standing or half standing,there was probably an eye to major tournaments in rugby and soccer,but its a GAA stadium

I'm not listening to the end of this as he's ignoring all the legal challenges by residents which are the reason the building was held up,nothing to do with anti-GAA feeling by Unionists,does he really think the residents in the area,clearly not unionists,don't have the right to go to court?Why not put the blame on the GAA for not answering their concerns in full?

The people who objected to this are the majority Catholic, republican people of West Belfast.

Unless there has been a very surprising and unreported population change around Casement park,you are,of course,a hundred percent correct.

Im more annoyed my photos have been used on rte, this interview, sportjoe ie, independant ie. And i knew nothing about them using them except sport joe until now lol.

I'm sorry but this interview seems to be twisting reality. Trying to make out that rugby and football got special treatment from politicians and that casement parks redevelopment is being held up for political reasons. Ravenhill was given 14.7 million for its redevelopment to casement parks 61 million. If the people behind the redevelopment of casement park had spoken to residents before making their plans then a new casement would already be up and running the same as Windsor and ravenhill. Not really sure why the pitch has been left to become such a mess.

Terrible state of affairs all together. The gaa were a bit arrogant with no consultation with residents with first plans . Since then they have bent over backwards meanwhile Windsor park built, ravinhill built. Casement need build now .
