Okay, the biggest mystery call in all of girls lacrosse is the shooting space call, and its really not all that mysterious if you understand the basic premise of it. Shooting space is designed to protect the defenders from getting the way of a shot, and believe me, as much as most girls don't want to get in the way of a ball being flung at them, many put themselves in a position to have it happen way too often.
