The shop is absolutely filthy after this weekend as we did the 48 hour revive and ride challenge. It is definitely much cleaner in this video than it was as Seth and I were on a mad dash to get some bikes up and running. It was truly an adventure. Now that it is over I we can work to get the content out so check the video out to see whats coming up!
If you found this video helpful or simply wish to support the channel further feel free to donate to the "Tip Jar" via the paypal link below! Anything is very much appreciated!

Seth’s laid back dry wit slowly working its way through the channel and my brain 🫡

The 74’ 450 would be an incredible video because I’m in the middle of rebuilding the exact same bike. Color and all… except that mine was a basket case. Slowly but surely getting her back together!

Going to be cool to watch the trip video. I’ll be curious on the title situation too as I get old bikes too and sometimes they just don’t have them

Projects! I really like your CB750, love that blue. I just finished getting titles on 24 bikes. It was quite a process. Here in Michigan, of you bought the bike in Michigan, and if it was registered in Michigan, you can submit a TR205 form with NADA value from the internet, and there's a good chance you will get the title. I did have to get a Sheriff's form on some. Nearly $2,000 in title, sales tax, and transfer fees. In the end I was successful on 23. One has a California title so that is now parts only bike. Good luck in your process. And if you need a seat for the 450, I have one, no holes.

@BrickHouseBuilds Месяц назад
Dang that's a ton of leg work on that many bikes! I may have to take you up on that seat. Maybe send me some pics on Facebook?

@@BrickHouseBuilds Thanks, as someone who asked a genuine question that is trying to start a channel with my wife, that answers literally nothing. All due respect, a simple “none of your business” would have been more to the point. Thx for your time either way
@BrickHouseBuilds
@BrickHouseBuilds Месяц назад
@leftymike8730 It's not a simple answer. I flip bikes, I build customer bikes, I generate revenue from RU-vid, I do service work, I sell used parts, I sell new parts, I sell merch, I host events, etc. I did take the time to respond though in a polite manner. Starting and maintaining a channel is the hardest thing I've ever done and try to mentor many people on the subject. I answer dozens of technical bike questions from people daily (for free)and do my best to help everyone I can. I have multiple videos in my backlog explaining my story, day in the life, and growth. It's out there in the public eye. Perhaps my answer was a bit limited though because of a shift that may not make sense to people because I'm doing so much behind the scenes. It doesn't matter though. My biggest advice is that if you start a channel you have to understand that viewers expect everything of you and you aren't allowed to be a real person but just a commodity to make videos to feed their needs. They will always let you know when you don't fulfill their needs and people will ALWAYS be there to try to tear you down.
@BrickHouseBuilds
@BrickHouseBuilds Месяц назад
@leftymike8730 To aid with starting a channel though, nate black (formally of channel makers) is a great source of info with his videos. Do youtube university to understand video structure, upload defaults, best practices, etc. Audio is more important than video. Work to only get better. Don't do merch starting out. Don't ask for people to subscribe until you first give them a reason to subscribe. First though, you have to start. Make a video and get it up there as it's the hardest one to do.
@leftymike8730
@leftymike8730 Месяц назад
@@BrickHouseBuilds I will check out all the resources you mentioned . Thank you for taking the time to respond. I look at what you do and on the surface it seems difficult to sustain which is what prompted me to ask in the first place. Thank you again for your response, definitely a lot more going on than I would have suspected.
