You are so right about oiling the ends. I use JBCO and it is a game changer as far as SSKs go. I only have to do it twice a week because castor oil is very thick and it lasts. I agree with you about trimming as well. As long as you're using safe hair practices inside and out, trimming is not necessary unless absolutely needed. I also use satin bonnets and satin pillowcases. Great video.

Yes, people are so pushy about it that they actually shame and belittle you if you mention not trimming even when they can see you have healthy hair.

My hair grows at the same rate across but my crown has trouble retaining length. It sucks because my hair could be longer but to get the shape I like I have to cut from the bottom alllll the time! This year I'm really trying to tackle how can I retain more length at the crown area.

I've seen it being tested on people with straighter hair, but never on our frizz-loving texture! Your hair oiling hack for every night has done WONDERS for me and my fairy-knot, spilt-end prone hair and I'm not going back. Thank you! I also agree with your first hack, using a liquid leave-in conditioner. I always feel like a liquid leave-in is like a toner, and a creamier thicker one is a moisturizer, if that makes sense. ❤❤Lots of love as per usual.
