The Shortest takeoffs we've seen this year! 

I heard just the other day about a STOL demonstration at Calhan Colorado (5v4) coming this September. Calhan can be a challenge on a good day, but the 6450' elevation along with a good dose of DA will test even the best pilots. One unique thing about Calhan is having 1000' of AvTurf...no tire wear, and every line is the same. It should be fun.

Wow! Flew a Citabria 7ECA with pitched prop allowing 2800 on ground. 10 internet headwind anything around 200 was doable if you finessed the controls With flaps or stoffers it changes everything. 12 Ft HS! What a thrill to see the diversity in unlimited. Where is the other coverage on RU-vid for stol competition? Excellent coverage with passion.

Maybe I'll bring my Long EZ to one of those events and show them boys how it's done.

you'de think a pusher prop isn't as handy if it doesn't blow over the wing?

Has anyone modified the bottom of the cockpit to make it clear? Seems like the pushers could use that..

Would it be legal to throw out and anchor in the lawn for shorter stops? like a Navy Tailhook :D
