I don't like to compare Dan and Tommy. I think they are amazing singers both of them! Dan has been doing covers many years and I understand that he has a lot of fans. The only difference between them is that Tommy play all the instrument him self so a lot of credit for him there. But I don't think that Dan and Tommy are in a competition, it's more each one's fans who are. I think that it would be awesome if they did something together ❤

For me, it's not a question of one being better than the other. Everyone has their own talents. One is a tenor (Tommy), the other more of a baritone (Dan). I'd say it's more a question of personal taste, and mine tends towards Tommy. I find his voice more refined, while Dan's is more ‘classical’, in the sense that this type of range is much more common in metal. What's more, Tommy is exceptional in that he's both solo guitarist and singer, and that requires incredible mastery. There are hardly any singer/solo guitarist in metal. Most metal singers who play guitar at the same time play rhythm guitar. Singing and playing guitar at the level Tommy does is simply insane.
Great performance! Both guys are incredibly talented and it's like comparing apples and oranges. They both bring something to the table. But for me, there's a quality in Dans voice, expression and tonality that I prefer over Tommys voice.
Dan and I have cried through several of his covers, he is the most sensitive man I know of, Tommy has put some out that I've cried through too. Both are amazing men.❤❤

This really highlights the differences between Tommy and Dan. To my ear, Tommy's voice is so much more lyrical and fuller while Dan's is sharper and metallic.

Dan is a baritone, so at least on this song, Dan's voice was not as suitable as Tommy's voice was. This is also evident in the concerts, Tommy's voice is really powerful, clean, clear and fills you with ecstasy. Dan's voice in concert sounds different. He has an old scratchy metal style, it's more like Iced earth
Great mashup with the 2 of them but personally Dan is hands above the clear cut winner, Dan has a more robust voice and such emotion. Tommy is a good singer as well my personal opinion Tommy need better editing software, he always sounds a little tinny or echoey to me but I am no expert. But great job Karla, keep up the good work.

Absolutely TERRIBLE edit on this video. sorry to say here. It MIGHT have been pretty impressive if they had ACTUALLY collaborated together and sung this as a TRUE duet, which NEVER happened! As a measure of comparison, it's cool to see. However, sorry, but I have to point out the awful gaps in the music and delays in the beats.
I totally agree. He seems to be holding back somewhat or maybe he didn't feel well. There was a lot he could have done that wasn't. He didn't hold his notes out very long, his voice wasn't a powerhouse as usual and there wasn't a lot of emotion as per his usual performance. Like he felt defeated somewhat?. ☹ I know Tommy has a great voice also but Dan is just as good as him, in my book a lot better.

B-effing-S! Dan and Tommy would be absolutely amazing together! They both have amazing range and both can sing absolutely anything! I thought I'd despise Tommy's release yesterday because I can't stand Celine Dion, but he absolutely crushed it, and Dan made me love Smooth Criminal, even though I hated it by Michael Jackson. In other words, your take is horrible!
How do you know until they actually do something together? I'm willing to die on this hill, though. Like I already said, with both of their amazing ranges, any song they might possibly do would be epic!

Tommy Johansson? he is the ultimate banner of what it means to be a metal god. That incredible talent, his prodigious voice. the most excellent aspirational reference that metal warrior could have. He plays more than 10 instruments, is a music producer, edits, paints, designs, has his own brand of gin, speaks 4 languages, and on top of that he cooks deliciously; what else? Maybe he also shoots laser rays through his eyes. He was a guitarist for Sabaton, and composed songs for them as well. He was Pellek's drummer and guitar, he has his own band called Majestica and he also arranged Jansen Floor's songs. In addition to being adorable, he is a Norse god and his voice is incomparable. What's wrong with you? You can't just steal other artists videos and make your own and let people think they are having a collaboration. Do you have their permission? There are laws you know. And do you really think Tommy, who is a real musician would ever work with the mediocre Vasc. Vasc has a thin voice and no talent what so ever. Tommy is doing everything on his videos, arranging, playing, singing, filming, producing och mastering. Vasc is just a musician wannabee that is better suited for karaoke in some bar.
