I'm loving this build so far, I'd love more anniversary edition builds and some fallout 4 builds, also a tip, it's much more easy to level enchanting by crafting staves, myrnwatch has a staff enchanter
@@kbroomall you know I have found this aswell, time was I used to make all builds SUPER OP, be it 100% destruction cost reduction or giving myself like 2000 armour and health and a weapon that does twice as much, but now I have found the merit in good role-playing and character, the satisfying progression in power and over all not being broken, so thanks skypothesis
With the Stylite Storm and Sith Lord comparisons, I’m just going to leave this here… Shroud: join me, Stylite and together we can overthrow the dragons! The hist never told you what happened to your Egg Brother! Stylite Storm: It told me enough! It told me you killed him! Shroud: No! I AM your Egg Brother! Stylite Storm: NOOOOO!!!
Y’all should note that steel blue entoloma, glowing mushroom, and creep cluster make a fortify destruction, restore magicka, and fortify carry weight potion; which is broken for an alchemy destruction character. Also it’s all farmable with hearthfire and looks like an epic alchemist’s garden when you scatter them about your plots
They also sell for a Ton (around 2/3 of the Creep cluster+Mora tapinella+Scaly, which is supposed to be the best for Leveling) which means they also level up alchemy pretty fast.
If you're having trouble harvesting the Creep Cluster, Giant Lichen can be a substitute for it while still getting Fortify Destruction/Restore Magicka.
So true. I do like vampire builds and the title pic looks awesome. Haven't got time to watch it right now, so I'm saving this for later. Beer, sofa and a new Skypothesis build to watch, good times. 🍺
I haven't commented in a while, since there isn't really anything to say that I haven't already. Every Build you guys make ends up being one of the best builds I've ever seen, and somehow they keep getting better. So yeah, just keep up the amazing work and continue making awesome builds!
Ending 2021 with another Lizard Wizard! Eggscellent! A dark mirror to the Stylite Storm (which is how I discovered your channel), the Mordo to her Strange, the Master to her Who-I love it!
Wickedwind doing his creative gameplay vids with one of Skypothesis' creative character builds. Now that's something to see. (P.S. you guys watching each others' vids is pretty dope haha)
I remember the Aetherial Pilgrim, but a cool idea would be a pilgrim who isn't a mage. He would be the oblivion class pilgrim who wanders Skyrim to visit the shrines in each hold, bears a mace and thieves guild armor and an amulet of any divine you want. The pilgrim would use alchemy, lockpicking, light armor, speech, one handed, sneak and a little bit of pickpocketing.
As someone who plays on ps4 where the game likes to crash with the simplest of graphical mods, im glad I stumbled onto this channel. I recently grabbed the anniversary edition and have been struggling to find a good playstyle. These build videos have been helping me to create my own character and a back story that I like, so I just wanted to say thank you for these. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
I feel like Eye of the Dragon is essentially part of the character's aesthetic, and juxtaposes well with the plain robes. Heck, it kind of juxtaposes with Skyrim in general, temporarily changing the visuals in epic fashion. And having said that, I think it's still distinct enough from the Oblivion Sentinel's Cataclysm. I think the Shroud could alternatively use Windstad Manor as his garden residence (keeping the small version of the house). Laid to Rest could be an extension of his growing competitive nature, partly since there's no option to side with Movarth.
Very unique build! I love the connection between the Hist and Daedra being made in the backstory! Very fun, I have a character thats similar to this build but she is a female Argonian and she's hideous!........ But anyway! Love the video!
This is the first time I've seen a really useable equilibrium build and with the new spells it makes sense, also y'all are a lot better than fudge muppet because you actually use alchemy with your destruction mages
YES. I use fortify destruction potions when I know that I know that my usual drawn out battle won't go so well for me. As well as the fortify restoration potions when I'm running out of health potions
New to following you guys but love the game and love this build. I played a blood magic Argonian wizard a while back, guess I'm going to have to do it again with the new content. Really geeked out over this build, good job guys!
Awesome build. I was thinking about a swashbuckler build. Try to tie it in with your Redorian swordsman build. The student who gave into his pride. Now that would be a killer build.
You could use Bloodthorn instead of the Mace to keep with the themes and mechanics of the character(at least I think it’s Bloodthron that has soul capture)
Of all the build guides I've seen from a variety of creators, this, hands down is by far the most unique and interesting one I've seen, so much so that as I write this, I am loading up Skyrim to play this build.
Great video, btw, you guys might want to put 1 or 2 points in the fire perk on the destruction skill tree because I remember hearing that it also boost your elementary enchantments, if I remember correctly, it was in the Fudgemuppet video where they were making the most overpowered weapon in the game, a stalhrim weapon with a frost and chaos enchantment.
You could also obtain the dagger Bloodthorn, which has Absorb Health as well as Soul Trap. I also feel like you could do Azura’s quest and get the Black Star. Just a thought.
An incredible build, and a real great take on how to use and roleplay blood magic in skyrim! Also, imagine between this guy and the stylite storm. A battle for the ages, i say.
@@Skypothesis thanks 😊 will definitely be trying this guy out on my next play through. I was also thinking of using some alteration flesh spells, roleplaying it as the shroud using magic to harden his own blood for extra defence.
Im trying your build right now. Started on Master and switched to Legendary the moment I got equilibrium. I can happily report that it is performing great! I got crap gear, nothing in enchanting yet and 40+ in alchemy, so lots of room to improve still! Focused on Sneak and Illusion first, and followed up with destruction. I went a little heavier into magicka. Very rewarding game play! Thank you!
The red misty atmosphere of the video was suitably creepy for this character. As always, I love the lore, backstory, motivation, and aesthetic. Your choice of a water accessible player home is perfect for an Argonian character. Your perspective of the use of blood magic by a character with three types of blood is a unique approach. The special moves represent the essence of this character nicely. I like how you presented The Shroud of Coldharbour as a counterpoint to The Stylite Storm.
I'm excited to start this build this weekend, the balancing of magicka and health looks like a blast. Always impressed by yall's content and commitment to the vibe
This is the second build of yours I've seen and I already like it, when ever I do a vampire starting out I like to wear ragged robes that Narfi and other beggars wear with ragged boots.
Absolutely making this my next build. Im happy i forgot i never finished watching this one. I typed in skyrim blood magic build and whoa..some of the ideas i had expaned to even further lengths. Im going to rewatch at least 3 times to fully capture the possibilities and roleplaying aspects. The fact that Touch of Death and Equilibrium work so well together...i may actually start using fortify destruction potions for the first time too. They are too overpowered for Unbounded Storms. But for edging out ToD over Equilibrium...perfect.
I definitely wrote off the leeching spells not thinking anything of them. Man was I wrong! This build is so strong and fun to play! It's hard to find a good medium with strong and fun but you guys always nail it! Awesome creation!
After playing alot of Skyrim every day for the past 2 months testing and experiencing Skyrim anew with your builds i can finally say this is my absolute favourite. I dont have to worry about managing resources or getting killed because I can just leech things. And leveling the crafting skills doesnt feel rushed with this build! And no poisons!! Playing on Nintendo Switch and having to go into the menu and applying poisons midfight after every hit makes fighting feel weird and unnatural. I love hoarding all kinds of power too and this build fits perfectly for that
This is quickly becoming one of my most favorite builds ever. I already love the Argonians, and hemomancy has always been one of my favorite types of magic in fantasy. I could tell right away the Shroud was right down my alley. Outta curiosity, what's it with you guys and the gold ruby necklace? Reference to the Amulet of Kings or something?
I kept getting recommendations from your channel no matter how much I ignored it. Guess it was now time to subscribe, but I can’t say I am disappointed. Awesome vids.
This is the first video I've seen from your channel, and I have no idea how I didn't find you sooner! This way of showcasing builds is super awesome, and very well-delivered! :D
@@Skypothesis I’ve already used several of your builds for characters and I make almost all of them into follower builds just cos they all seem so cool and creative ❤️
How about an Elder Argonian build who seeks to reestablish the pre-Duskfall civilization? I know there isn't much Agronian-centric quests or loot to be had in Skyrim (even with Anniversary Edition), but considering the creativity you have put into you're builds thus far, I'm sure you could manage it. A starting point for the aesthetic: A lot of Elder Argonian gear seems to have Dwemeri influence. So maybe Dwarven Plate armor and the Aetherial Crown? Maybe a mace in place of a macuahuitl? Maybe Restoration sun magic to tie into the whole "Aztec" theme?
If you do the entire fishing quest line for the argonian at the riften fishery you get a new unique argonian Dagger. It actually is tied with the madness Dagger for highest base damage in the game but weighs less. It's called Fang of Haynekhtnamet
The concept you've woven together around blood magic is simply astounding, and achieving all of that with just the official content is mind-blowing. Excellent job guys, for real. Also, merry Christmas! :D
Always love when the flasks get recognized. We looked for other transparencies of flasks/potions out there and path of exile has the best variety and highest quality art.
To get illusion maxed by level 40, you can train it with muffle. That spell increases illusion like crazy, especially when combined with well rested and mage stone.
After I reached level 40 playing this character I decided to go into alteration and conjuration to make him something of a more evil hemomancer for starters alteration for paralysis and Mass paralysis can be seen as him stopping an opponent's blood to freeze them in their tracks and in conjuration the use of the Dead thrall spell could be him manipulating the blood that's left in the body to turn those he is defeated into Shields that way he can heal while his opponents are distracted
As a Skarlet main in Mortal Kombat 11 i can only agree with you when you said the concept of blood magic is fascinating ! The Shroud of Coldharbour is such a nice character with a very versatile and unique gameplay. So i started a playtrought with him, the only difference is i will use the shrouded robes, the blood spells of Sacrosanct instead of the CC spells and use the specials moves: Unwitting Champion, Blink and Banishement from The Desert Magician video. It seems fiting for me because they are two vampire wizard expert in their schools of magic and their are blinded jealousy and power. Thanks for this awesome character as always and congratulations for your 8k subscribers !
I'm going to do this build but will use the Robes of The Lich from Ghosts of The Tribunal quest and the Necromancers Hood just for the aesthetic. If you want to know where to get the new robes from the Necromantic Grimoire content there's an unenchanted set in the back room of Yngvild on a dresser to the right of the door
Wow! Now I'm interested. I always play as an Argoni - Warrior class vampire hunter and never cared to be vampire because it has never been interesting to me even after reading and learning every piece of lore I have found, nothing really fit that race. Finally I will be able to fully immerse myself into a really awesome vampire roll. Fantastic work.👍
I like to role play the glitchy launching that happens when using the new spells as him grabbing his opponents like a blood bender and launching them upwards
I had a similar idea to this with one of my characters but the way u guys have done this is amazing. The role play is brilliant and the gameplay looks cool and unique, keep up the great work lads 😁
I feel like this one deserves a walkthrough... Just to know how exactly you progress through the stories and when you upgrade which skill and how the character you shaped unfolds slowly!
This one felt pretty uncanny. Way video presents character, colors and music, his story, power level he is able to reach, and this story about archaic tribe felt to the cold harbour. There is something really evil to all that, that most "evil edge lord" character can not reach. Great work!
I have a special move, you thought I was done?: use the slow time shout and use any healing ability aside from the leeching spells, this is to be used as a last ditch effort to survive once magika has been drained and you find yourself short on restore magic potions, also this is just a personal gripe, I really dont like the thieves guild, just the play style, sneaky and non violent, compared to the dark brotherhood where you need to actually kill a target, more challenging than just dont get caught
Okay I'm definitely using this build sometime. Was actually looking for a pure Argonian mage build and found this! Also, there is a few Hemomancer spell mods I want to add to this build, such as Blood moon by dereni I think the modders name is called. A RU-vid channel called Heavy Burns did a cover of good spell mods and Blood Moon was in part 2. Look forward to playing this Vampire mage!
Idea for a future roleplay Build The Reborn Dwemmer An Orc warrior who nearly died in combat found his way into some dwarven ruins where stumbling upon a strange cube that spoke to him he now believes himself the reborn embodiment of the Dwarves of old focusing on Heavy armor combat he will don the Dwarven Armor and weaponry and search out for any and all things related The main focus being of course Sunder, and Wraithguard. The Reborn Dwemmer will do any quests involving searching for information, finding relics of the past, and if possible destroying Daedric Artifacts due to the Dwemmer's dislike of them. As for factions, he would be willing to join the dawnguard do to the threat of the vampires, and the fact they can recreate dwarven crossbow technology this is all I could come up with, but feel f ree to use and tweak it
