There's a lot of talk about the startup scene in India, but what's really happening on the ground? There's a side of India that the West doesn't know about. It's a side of India that is bursting with new startups, innovation, and opportunities.
In this video, you'll get a glimpse into the world of Indian startups and see why now is the time to invest in India.
There's an image that has been painted to us in the West about India, and that picture is real.
The crowds, the traffic, and extreme poverty. It's all here.
But a question has been growing in my head.
India represents 15% of our audience. Every day I meet more and more founders based out of India who are creating fantastic tech companies. But this is a country I don't understand.
This question I could only answer by experiencing India myself: how has this country transformed itself into a new tech hub? How are these solutions, these companies emerging from chaos?
I spent two weeks in Bangalore and in Chennai. Two growing tech hubs where I learned about an ecosystem that is surely transforming this country, neighborhood by neighborhood and city by city.
If you're interested in startups and entrepreneurship or just curious about what's happening in India, this is a must-watch video. So sit back and enjoy!

We don't have any such problems here but the invasions for more than 500-1000 years from west and other parts and their problems are inherited here. Today's technology meaning is changed as it only means something which is computer operated but that is not actual technology means. Technology means a way to process something. Anything the way you eat is a technology, the way you walk is a technology but people are only talking about technology in the sense of automated computer operated things. That's the problem

You are wrong dude, some south east asian countries like Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia etc and some south American countries come close to India when economy is considered. When research/technology is considered, India is even better than those countries. South Asian countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh are better than Nigeria, and India is much better than Pakistan and Bangladesh at present. You cannot compare Nigeria and India, it's like comparing India to China or USA. India is very different country, visit all 28 states then you'll reach at conclusion. what happens 50 km away from my house I don't know... As far as economy is concerned, India is low income country with 65% population directly depend on agriculture. while urban areas look good excluding places where migrants live. 4000$/month is really a higher salary range in case for india which is roughly 3Lakh INR/month ,,most of freshers get annual salary of 4k$ for them to reach ,each employee is billed at the rate from US 9$/hour to upto 40$(if skilled) but the Indian companies still under pays below that,, for someone to reach ,4k$ /month is great feat and it takes minimum of 10+ years if high skilled techie or a manager

@@dhineshkumars1991 india does have high packages for skilled people, a person with 3 year experience can also get 38 lakh package but problem is it won't be $4k per month instead of salary it is a package which includes everything else and only ends up paying $1-2k per month, companies in u.s don't talk in packages, they declare the base pay beforehand.

UKs biggest employer is TATA which is an Indian company is also the Europe's employer of the year. CEOs of Google, Mastercard, Twitter, Microsoft, Pepsi, Chanel, Adobe, IBM, Micron, Arista, Only fans etc etc. 36% of NASA scientists are Indians. 40% of specialized doctors in UK and US are Indians. ISRO - Indian space research organization is the second most successful space organization after NASA with successful missions at quarter of its budget. india produces fastest supersonic missile of the world and is currently producing its own fighter jets, helicopters and drones. 2nd biggest army in terms of service personal and 4th biggest in terms of military budget. 3rd best airforce. World's fastest growing economy. Recently, one Indian tech company contributed $200B to the US economy, more than the combined economies of 20 US states. Its not all Rossy and all. The thing with India is that its real strength lies in its diversity. Language, food, culture, dress we have so many varieties that it's wrong to show India as this one homogenous country. But despite all the differences, what binds us is this sense of oneness and responsibility towards the country. Flaws exist, like any other country, but we have tons of potential across the country. So the next time you wanna explore about India, remember you're gonna get more than one variety 💜

@@dashmeetsingh9679 I agree with you, what I meant was that as much as we have poverty, literacy, and other problems, it doesn't hurt to acknowledge the points that make our nation so well known around the world. It doesn't necessarily have to be about the tech world itself, the history that our country has, the culture and diverse traditions that people follow. I would not call myself a true patriot but it just doesn't feel right when most of the western population base their opinions of the country based on what is projected via news media and certain movies like slum dog millionaire and lion.
