Join me on a journey around the east coast of Malaysia. On this side of Malaysia, you hardly see any foreign tourists. But I like to travel off the beaten paths, away from places like Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Langkawi, where you'll see tons of tourists. How is Malaysia on this side of the country? Will it be easy to get around and how will the experience be? Let's find out!

Just an update regarding the Gas Station, actually the paying part is just to make sure you don't run away after filling up with not paying. If you can see someone is helping to fill up for you can just straight say full then pay later but if no one around to fill up you can just pay for example RM 10 according to you estimated full tank price then full up. Once you have fill it up then can go back to the counter for the balance that you have paid.

20 over yrs ago i went to Trengganu. The lot of us nearly 20+ ordered some food but the stall owner told half of our group to order from a neighbouring stall. He said they sell the same food as his stall, same taste but no customers.....he pitied them. So some of us ordered from the other stall and yes the taste were the same...😂😂😂. Surprised that he was willing to share his customers with the other stalls. One thing though.....the people up north really have a sweet tooth.

In my opinion, I prefer the beach to not be so full of people. I love to "lepak" in beach. Its so quiet and peace with just the sound of wind and the waves. It do wonders for my mind and de-stress me. Sometimes its good that it has less people. More doesn't mean is better. And I also think that you come at around 1-4 pm. No one want to go to the beaches at that because it so hot and the sun is strong at that time. But you will have a very satisfying nap under the shade around these time. this is my opinion

Hallo Ken ! Unglaublich! Very nice family, they even took us around the kampung and showed us around. Very relaxing and beautiful. Apparently that kampung has an interesting and rather unique ecosystem, but I never really looked into it because too busy relaxing 😂. Terengganu has pristine beaches along its coast. However, people living on east coast states are conservative and more religious. I don't know how when western tourists wanna sunbathing on the beach ⛱️ wearing indecent👙on the ⛱️ there. Plus, there is no safety guards to watch over if people wanna swim in the sea. Thus, it is not very inviting to tourists for their safety if they want to spend time on the beach ⛱️ alone.

Kuala Terengganu may look modern but just like the rest of the state it's extremely backward and is an embarrassment to the developed parts of Malaysia. They cane young women in public and want to begin executing anyone who leaves Islam. Travellers with a conscience should consider boycotting Terengganu. I used to dive there four to five times a year, now I wont set foot in the state out of principle. I know of at least 20 other divers who also no longer go there.

Wearing the jacket in reverse is a quick way to give protection to your arms and front while staying cool in the hot weather. Wearing the jacket the proper way ia too hot...you sweat like crazy

I really love the Malaysian East Coast. Even though I went there during the beginning of monsoon season I still had a great time in Kelantan. Totally different from the West Coast, which I also love

The east coast was very popular back in the 1960s-70s when the giant leatherback turtles came ashore to mate and lay eggs. Sadly, Malaysia has lost that heritage.

Please stay under rated. Redang and Perhentian are so commercialized now. Murahnya ais krim. That is the best ais cream, neopolitan, choc, vanil, strawberry. Waffle is probably pandan flavor You should try riding aling the coastal roads in Peninsular Malaysia. Wow 200 kilo a day!
