If you ever get a chance you should visit during the summer. Great food, great drinks, great people and stunningly beautiful nature. Oh and it's pretty cheap too😁
Makes me happy that the Tara national park staff recognized your effort and rewarded it with a symbolic gift. Your promotion of Serbian tourism is very much appreciated and welcome. Thank you
You just made me homesick 😁. If I may correct you... Bajina Bašta means Baya's Garden. It got its name after Baja Osman somewhere in the 1800s. He had some orchards in the area and after awhile the whole town got that name. If you say Bajna Bašta (without the I) then it does mean Beautiful Garden. One story goes that mountain Tara got its name after the Celts built a temple for their goddess Tara. Whatever the case may be you guys put a huge smile on my face. Thank you and I wish you all the best on your travels. Take care and stay safe
I'm glad u guys liked Bajina Bašta !🥰 U should come in summer! Its much nicer weather and in july u could join the biggest manifestation on Drina river called Drinska regata!! Lots of lots of fun ,beer, rakia, music and fun! 🇷🇸
Absolutely beautiful Bajina Basta.Incredible view at the foot hills of the Tara mountains. Love the view of the waterfalls.Awesome amazing.Love the hotel decor.Simply incredible. Have a wonderful weekend. Lovely 😍 😘🤩😍❤
What a gorgeous nature! You are right, no one goes to that area, which is a mistake. Best regards from Canada. By the way, Molly is very talented for languages, superb pronunciation!
I'm repeating myself but I have to say it: you guys are so natural, showing many parts of Serbia in such casual way. It is rare to see provincial Serbia even on our national TV, it's always Belgrade and occasionally Novi Sad, maybe Guča in August, but little towns like Bajina Bašta are shown almost exclusively before elections or in case of some emergency. It's nice to see it from a tourist perspective, there are lovely places and interesting people everywhere and you guys are on a mission to show it. Keep enjoying travelling!
Simply Fabulous!! Thanks for taking us on this virtual tour, where most part of the world is still on lock down. My country is on its 3rd lock down :/ ............ *argh*!!! So good to see nature, breathtaking! - the drone shots are an amazing birdie's view, and more :-) Love, love, love that place you were staying! Cheers to you both from Asia xx
Absolutely love the village view around the monastery. Love the river and the waterfalls Absolutely amazing..Love the souvenir s from The Tara National Park.Incredible
...I'm fascinated ..... I had the impression that you two are more for nightlife and parties ..... than monasteries and walking in nature ...... I seem to have been in the wrong belief .. ... I certainly congratulate you on your openness to something else
A little bit upstream from Racha Monastery is a nice picnic area. The restaurant over the end of "Тhe Year/Vrelo river" serves trout that you can actually see in the water under the terraces. There are good restaurants in the area and inexpensive too. If you explore a bit you can hit fantastically prepared dishes that could match those in best restaurants.
Thank you for promoting lesser known places and Serbia in general, Serbia has been demonized for decades due to the horrific wars and sanctions happening and USA forcing its own anti-Serbian propaganda in majority of western media, it sadly had negative impact on all spheres of our society, including tourism. Cheers.
Hello my idols wow so beautiful place again and you guys you’re good doing the drone so beautiful guys enjoy your adventures and take care guy’s I love you both 👏👏👏🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍
Well done Molly, great pronounciation.:-) I love the video, you two are so nice, I'm happy you wisited, and hope that you injoyed my contry, and will come again, there's a quite a lot and more to see, monasterys, monuments, and natural beauty. There's a gretest knight festival in europe in Manasija monestery near smal town of Despotovac in Avgust, and Resava cave near it for exemple, it is really quite something to see. Best wishes from Serbia.
The sort of rakija called kleka, or actually klekovača, is a šljivovica (traditional Serbian plum-based rakija) aromatised with juniper berries, much like London dry gin is.
Hi guys, fellow Brit Travel RU-vidr here! Just wanted to say great videos from Serbia, I've filmed a number myself in Serbia over the last couple of years but last year's chaos derailed pretty much all my plans to visit a lot of the places you visited recently! I'm back in Serbia again and plan to go to some of the places you went to but I'm purposely not watching all of your videos because you know what it's like, I don't want to unconsciously do the same things if you know what I mean! Molly I love your effort with pronunciation, us Brits are notoriously crap with that right lol. Hope you're both doing good!
Thank you for making nice videos about my country. It helps a bit to my big homesickness because I am far from my homeland Serbia 🇷🇸 I am now in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Manastir Manasija i Manastir Ravanica and Sisevac terme you should rly check out if you ever went to this side of Serbia or google it, they are beautiful... Thank you so much for showing other side of Serbia, something that media from the west wont show... Thank you! Much love
Hallo a beatiful place in east Serbia is Despotovac or Resava Homolje, the biggest cave in serbia is there Name Resavska Pecina The Cave is 3,5 Kilometer long but you can walk 850 Meter in the cave. One of the most beatiful Monastir in Serbia is there name manastir manasija every day you can visit there and the highest waterfall Name is veliki buk li
Tnx for traveling Serbia, I hope that you enjoy. Consider to go to Kosovo and Metohija, if you are here still, to see oldest and most beautiful serb monestery and to see how serbs now live in that nato province. To see our sorrow and make nice video 😉
Interesting name of place BAJINA 😆😆. I revisited your vlog in Boracay when you 1st went there. Climate was so hot, people were wear'n summer outfits while Molly was in a all covered dress. That must have been schorching.
Molly, I love you, come to first and only authentic capital of Serbia - Kruševac. That is city of king Lazar who defended christianity than Ottoman empire in 14th century. I believe you have heard for battle of Kosovo? Kosovo Is heart of Serbia.
You are (re)discovering 'hidden gems' throughout Serbia that even the majority of Serbian population were not even aware off - there is a quite a massive potential for tourism in there! I left Serbia in my early twenties and I now regret for not exploring my native land more thoroughly. Unfortunately Serbia being 'landlocked' have always made our primary traveling destinations coastal region of Adriatic Sea, Greece and Italy.
Not only beautiful and sexy .. but Molly is very intelligent and smart young lady .. hear correct pronunciation of the name of places and people is very impressive.. young man could apply himself little better .. is not hard to learn how to correctly pronounce few words in a native language ,
I am starting to think you guys are checking out all sorts of parts of Serbia cause you are considering moving there? It seems like Matt would be very happy with rakija and local food every day.
Perfect, looking forward to seeing your videos!!!You will enjoy it for sure!!!I believe you will visit different places,National parks, and come to Boka Bay to see Tivat(Porto Montenegro,Luštica Bay),Kotor(Old town),Perast(Old town) and Herceg Novi.Above the bay is mountain Lovćen,great views and Njegoš mousoleum on the top of the mountain. Have a great time!!!
When pronouncing our names, it is literally one letter, one voice. For every single word. B is not bi, it is B. Same goes for A, it is not ei, it is A. Etc...
