Video idea for big Kon. Love you bro, you seem like a chill dude, so seeing you lose time and again and get down bums me out. So, have a series of konnor playing with pros and getting coaching. Do like a robbie C, Paul McB, Scott Stokley. Would be fun to watch him learn and progress and have it documented. Just a thought.
I'm with you Konnor. I can't throw any of these overstable drivers. I keep a destroyer but I don't really know why. I can only throw those types of discs forehand but then my shoulder hurts for multiple days
Konner is my new Matty O. I'm always rooting for him to win, when the three are playing each other. He's come so close so many times. We need a StatMando on his podium finishes.
Hey foundation DG ! Isn't it really close to a clash disc Salt ? The flight numbers would suggest it but not sure if they are accurate (and clash plastic feels so much nicer to me than anything else exept Kastaplast). Good day and thanks for the videos !
Flight numbers rarely align between different manufacturers - the salt is way more flippy. I agree that clash plastic feels nice, but it has a tendency to beat it quite fast. Also, the salt doesn't have as much torque resistance as the other discs. I have a c-line dd3 and it's super beefy, as are most c-line discs compared to their (softer) s-line equivalent
I have the new horizon cloud breaker. That’s overstable enough. Maybe I’d get the stock run which will likely be less overstable. Remember they’re throwing a proto.
Yeah this didn’t work. Everyone wants to see how this disc works for different people…or even just some different angle flights…or anything normal. Instead you did random banter without focusing on the disc Felt like trolling. And I’m a Patreon member.
the launch for this was so trash and attrocious... the local disc golf store in pittsburgh only put 9 out for sale this morning and then let their employees get in line and grab them, so like only 4 actual of the public got to even buy them there, i was there 3 mins after the store opened and it was sold out and i watched employees walking out with them lol... taking everything in me not to swear and how pathetic that trash is
You know they'll rerelease them at some point in much greater numbers, it will just have a different name. Yeah it's lame they make the proto so collectible, but we'll have tons of them in all plastic combo's soon enough.
A test can't be 3 people throwing 3 different discs. A true test would be in the open, with all 3 of you, and someone with a good arm too no offense, all throwing all 3 discs to come up with some real data. This video didn't test anything really
Kinda weird you played holes that were not really suited to overstable drivers? I guess you were able to figure out it was overstable just the same though.
One people will stop falling for marketing hype.. right? I throw 350, 380 on a good rip. I've got a destroyer for one shot. The rest are all understable distance drivers. If it works for you that's good, but we gotta stop mirroring out bags after pros especially when it comes to 11+ speeds.
Goodr sunglasses already have a name in the disc golf community thanks to Foundation's vast audience. Imagine if they sponsored Matty O... They'd be able to really capitalize on that specific market (being disc golfers on a sunny day) really well. Also, 9:39 immediately followed by 10:02--absolute gold.
So basically we learned that this run is super stable and if you don't have a big arm probably not the best disc to spin 40-50 whatever they cost. Unless you're just a collector.
Konnor improvement series where he learns with the Paul Ulibarri academy thing? It would be a video tested showing of improvement for ulibarris programming and we get to see Konnor improve. Its a 2for
Give a disc that likes to hyzer to someone that naturally releases on hyzer most the time. What would been a great idea would have been if you rotated who threw what off the tee pad.
There are so many different runs and molds of Calvin Destroyers. Some are overstable, some are very overstable and some are meathooks. It's always a different comparison where you have so much variation. Two years ago alone they released Calvin Destoyers in 3-4 colors and each color had a different mold or at least different shape and different stability. Nate Turner made a video where he had one Calvin Destroyer and also DD3 and this Timelapse and made a comparison. Calvin Destroyer he had was quite similar to this Timelapse. When SImon is throwing Timelapse it looks quite similar as new Calvin Destroyer so probably close.
@@kimmomatikainen1843 cool thanks! I didnt realize there were so many variations of calvin destroyers. For my noodle arm they are all meet hooks so i havent kept up on if there are variations.
They should've released a mid first for Simon Line. The majority of the people who are gonna buy this disc can't throw any proper overstable distance driver with enough power for it to fly as intended, let alone this one. This disc seems more like it's made for Simon to use personally competitively, not for being the every mans driver. And that's fine.
Well, MVP didn’t have a 12 speed, it took him longest to figure out their distance drivers and he wanted a little dome and we want Simon to win, so yes the first one is for him.
Like Mikothomas wrote. They made this for Simon because this is a slot that MVP doesn't have anything and Simon surely needs and wants this 12 speed to replace his DD3's. It was obvious when Simon signed with MVP that first disc will be an overstable 12 speed. At least I had no doubt about it and I wasn't the only one who was sure about it. Next release is a putter.
Did you break the damn discs in before your review? Didnt think so. Come on. Old MVP heads know to throw them repeatedly into trees to season the Plastic. Get back to me in a couple months. I know you're not Simon, but be reasonable.
