Found the problem. It won't work on Java since the redstone torch powered the dropper so it can't be activated with the button.

@@TomcoTwo After pressing the button, there's no change of state in the redstone torch above the hopper, even if I insert the "keycard" (renamed paper) inside the dropper

@@TomcoTwo Forget it, while I was redoing the machine, it worked! I don't remember what I did wrong last time, but what matters is that it works. Love your content man, only channel that actually does bedrock redstone mechanisms that work and give a proper tutorial. Keep it up and looking foward for more content

@@minedone1236 42 of the right item is a lot, especially if that item is rare. And yes, I know it doesn't work for item filters (due to signal leaking), but that's not really a concern in this case..

@@Creativity_Sparks I meant can you explain how to make it, I tried putting 42 in the second slot and nothing really worked, am a bit confused..

@@minedone1236 I made a slight mistake. It only needs 41 items in the second slot, then 1 in each of the remaining slots (with the first slot being the item you want it to check). 46 total items is enough to make the hopper drop 1 item off. You also got to ensure the hopper with the items isn't going straight into another hopper or chest. Trust me, I tried it to see what would happen.. It is also recommended that you rename the random items so other users cannot break your system by throwing dirt into it, for example.. I have also made a system before where only 18 items are needed in the second slot..
