Hi, I have a question. Does anyone know how to get rid of the smell in the car? That would be a useful thing to know. I was trying to figure out and I cant. I was advised Ozone sanitization by one of the mechanics but then when I called one of the garages that offer Ozone treatment, they said that it doesnt get rid of the smell, only 'kills bacteria'. I bought a car on my L plates, smells heavy of ciggaretes. Maybe anyone knows what to do. Thanks

So not always completely stoping at a stop line is “grade 3 dangerous” but apparently it’s not “grade 3 dangerous” for local council politicians to neglect such vital road markings to the point where they’re not even visible.

Some testers would not give a grade 3 especially if the driver rolled over the line very slowly.

I just want to say, I got my provisional license in 2007, drove for many years without a full licence and picked up plenty of bad habits. I had my driving test recently and couldn't get any lessons 3 months in advance. I decided to go for it without lessons in person, I watched all your videos prior to sitting the test and passed. The examiner said my use of the yellow box was "textbook" all thanks to you. I tell everyone about these videos now and I have a friend who is getting lessons at the moment but he now watches. Thank you so much for your clear and concise instructional videos 👏

What about stop where not normally line but is politely pedestrian crossing? Or stop sing before level crossing but stop line after this crosing? And where corect point for stop near stop sign without stop line?

Could you just treat them all at stop signs, if you can't make the lines out in time ? So even if it was a faded yield sign, just stop ( treat it like a stop sign ) Or would this be marked

Clutch control is creeping forward at slow speed, coasting is pressing the clutch in fully, I'm not sure if you understand the difference. I am preparing for test in automatic car. I have a quiery regarding stopping in traffic light. Do I need to pull hand brake and put in neutral while waiting in traffic lights.. Or just apply brake.. Can you answer my doubt. Thanks anna

If you want to then that's fine but you should wait in D at the lights do you are ready to go. Handbrake up is a good idea.

Probably for unnecessary complete stop, you can always come to a crawl in 1st gear using clutch control

@@allistergraham6704 I did that at a yield sign when turning right, the tester said I should have stopped dead then started crawling (even though it was a yield sign, not a stop sign). I would have thought I would get marked for lack of progress if I stopped dead in that instance.

@@TheOneAndOnlyXz Maybe it was a busy street? I always assumed yield means to enter with caution or to completely stop if necessary to give way. Either way I'm not a tester so I'm not sure what your situation at the time was lol

@@allistergraham6704 it was a minor road onto a major road. I didn’t stop because I was at a crawl as I reached the line, and I could clearly see that there was a huge gap I could take after clearly observing. I can understand somewhat where the tester is coming from, but I thought it was incredibly harsh they gave me a grade 2 for that.

Each situation needs to be judged individually, if you come to a full stop when there's no need then you'll be showing a lack of progress and confidence. You can't just apply a simple one size fits all answer to such a broad question, it does not work like that in the real world.

Not really no, on the back have the L plate on the overtaking side, on the front have it over the insurance disc
