The Simplicity and Wisdom of Diogenes
In Ancient Greece, the philosopher Diogenes believed that wealth and luxury made people unhappy, so he decided to live a life of simplicity. He left all his possessions behind and lived in a barrel. One day, Alexander the Great visited him and asked if he had any wish. Diogenes replied, “Don’t shadow me; I don’t need anything else.” With this simple yet profound statement, he reminded even the world's most powerful ruler that true happiness can only be found in simplicity and freedom. Diogenes’ philosophy endured for centuries and became known as "Cynic Philosophy."

Diogenes’in Sadeliği ve Bilgeliği
