Bart: You lost your stranglehold on the audience, Homer: I'll audience you, that line would have been better if instead of saying I'll audience you he should have said I'll strangle you 😂😂
What makes it funny isn't the strangulation itself. It's: A) The context and/ or dialogue (Especially Homer's retorts while doing it). B) Others' reactions to it. C) The moments when Bart finds creative ways to fight back while being strangled. When I was a substitute teacher, there was once an occasion about 7-8 years ago when it took every bit of restraint, professional decorum and Christian mercy in my body to keep from going all "Why you little..." on a mouthy little puke of a middle school student who made a mean, insulting comment about kids with special needs.
"Horsecollar, they've must've made a mistake!" - Gavin Brown This quote was based on the 1994 movie "Gavin Brown's Highway Adventure" produced by Gavin Brown Studios with distribution by MGM Distribution Co., only theatrical, Disney from Disney+ and Universal from Peacock. From the director(s) of A Fish Called Wanda, this movie was released in Summer 1994. This film features Gavin Brown as himself and the Colorblocks and Christopher Lloyd as Maddox. Also new characters star Tony Pope as Horsecollar, a white talking anthropomorphic horse with white gloves and brown shoes. Horsecollar is an anthropomorphic horse that lives in Horse Land with all of his anthropomorphic horse friends. He is Gavin's favorite horse. And when Gavin rides on him, he horses around on all fours, like a horse. And when they're done riding, he stands up like a tall man again. If they want to do it again, they do it the same way. Sometimes everyone wants to ride on Horsecollar. Sometimes everyone wants to act and horse around on all fours, like Horsecollar. Sometimes, when Horsecollar don't believe in Maddox, Gavin used his magic wand to make Horsecollar a raging horse. When Maddox runs away, Gavin jumps on raging Horsecollar and Horsecollar horses around on fours like crazy. When this happens, Horsecollar jumps on Maddox's back with his feet. When Horsecollar tells Maddox to giddy up, Maddox horses around by hopping on fours like a horse fast. If Maddox pressed the collide button while getting horsed, Maddox, Gavin and Horsecollar collide by horsing around like a horse the other way round. When Gavin and Horsecollar are back to riding Maddox again, Horsecollar jumps out of Maddox, and jumps away like a horse all the way to his house, and when Horsecollar turns back to normal, Gavin keeps riding on Horsecollar all the way back to the amusement park on all fours like a horse in the raging horse scene in the 1994 movie Gavin Brown's Highway Adventure. He was voiced by Tony Pope (1994), Tino Insana (2000-10), Fred Tatasciore (2011-present) in the USA, and Kayi Ushe in the UK.
At the finale scene from Gavin Brown's Highway Adventure, Horsecollar tells Gavin he wants to ride in the roller coaster by himself. Until then, when Gavin hopped on the roller coaster, Horsecollar told Gavin "you ride on your roller coaster, we'll ride and horse around, like me." Next, the engineer says to Gavin: "Are you ready?" Gavin says "Yes!" Then the Colorblocks join in the coaster. Then when the engineer pulls the lever, the roller coaster goes uphill, and stopped, he and the Colorblocks sees everyone riding, colliding, making Horsecollar sounds and acting like Horsecollar on all fours. Red says "Exciting" calmly. Then, the coaster goes downhill, and Gavin and the Colorblocks shout "Wheeeeeee!" loudly. The coaster goes on loops, ups and downhills, through tunnels, and then all the way to the entrance. Finally, when the roller coaster ride was over, Horsecollar arrives outside the entrance, and Gavin and the Colorblocks hop on his back, and Horsecollar horses around excitedly. Horsecollar and everyone (except for Gavin and the Colorblocks) have fun being Horsecollar. Gavin and the Colorblocks cheer, and everyone (except for Gavin and the Colorblocks) acts like Horsecollar. Gavin and the Colorblocks shout "Let's go!" And the iris fades out. Gavin and Horsecollar (standing up like a tall man) walks onscreen, look at the viewers, and Gavin said "Well, that was a fun... horsey... amusement movie. Don't you think, Horsecollar?" Horsecollar says to Gavin: "Yeah! That sure was horsetastic! That was fun being me, and horsing around!" Gavin says to Horsecollar: "Yeah, Horsecollar! You were the best brave horse ever!" Horsecollar laughs and says: "Yeah! I am brave! And you know what's really excited about me?" Gavin says "For what?" Horsecollar excitingly hops on all fours, shouting "You're gonna ride me back to Gavin Brown Studios! (neigh)" Horsecollar stands back up like a tall man. Gavin said "Awesome, Horsecollar! I knew it you're excited to ride on you!" Horsecollar pats Gavin on the head and said "That's what we're talking about, buddy!" Then he gets on all fours. Gavin hops on Horsecollar's back, and then said to the viewers: "Alrighty! The movie just had ended! Now friends and families, it's time to leave the theater! I hope you've enjoyed our movie! See you soon!" When the viewers start leaving, Gavin says to Horsecollar: "So, Horsecollar, are you ready to go back to Gavin Brown Studios?" Horsecollar says "Yeah! (neigh) I'm ready to horse around!" Gavin says to Horsecollar: "Alright! We're ready to go back to Gavin Brown Studios! Giddy up, giddy up, Horsecollar! C'mon, Horsecollar!" Horsecollar then lifts up his heels like a horse, then says: "(neigh!)" and then he runs like a horse all the way offscreen to Gavin Brown Studios. Gavin rode him offscreen to his studio, too. And so we see the end credits roll. In the post credits scene, Maddox is bored and does not know what to do. He says "There's nothing I can do. I'm tired to do anything on my own. My life is ruined because Horsecollar rides on me. That was the worst thing I've ever weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-(neigh)" He accidentally pressed the collide button and running on fours like Horsecollar and said while horsed: "I've still got some horse in me!!!" The post credits ends when Maddox continues horsing around like crazy all the way to his house. And then it fades to black after when Maddox is gone horsing around on all fours. And so, the closing logos.
