So a E3 build of the game surfaced that predates the final release by over three months. Despite only having 5 levels, there are a ton of differences between this and the final game (like music), but I think the most interesting difference is that this build of Mob Rules uses a early layout of Springfield.
By using the cardboard cutouts you can get out of bounds. What's interesting is that all of the out of bounds areas of this level have collision (something that the final game doesn't do) so you'll be able to explore the entire map. One big difference about the E3 Springfield is that there are alot of cut buildings that make an appearance here like the hospital, cemetery and others. The buildings even have little areas where collectibles would be, meaning that it was worked on alot before being scrapped. The Wii Prototype also uses this Springfield as a base for it's Homer Bowling minigame
You can check out more differences on the TCRF page.
