i feel like projects like this where you recreate or remaster finished products deserve more love, it's such an underrated niche that requires just as much talent, effort, and patience as making them from scratch, if not more under some circumstances. fantastic work!
Looking fantastic as usual! It's amazing how closely you manage to match the style! I think the buzz cola label tracking needs a bit more work as it jumps around a little, but it's very close!
I love the amount of time and passion you're putting into this project. Everyone keeps mentioning reubs remake project but to me this is superior because it makes the whole game look much nicer visually while also keeping the charm and already established gameplay the same. I wish you had a full team and the backing of the original devs and Fox/Disney/The Simpsons crew.
I agree. The 2D animation work in this is far superior looking to Reubs version as the colors and line work make it pop and look far more faithful to the show than the Reubs version.
I wish this remastered Mod could have been combined with that one guy that was modding the game into one huge single world map and tailoring all the missions and stuff to take advantage of that. Too bad that guys been on hiatus.
Slight animation advice, I would remove Cola Kid's pupil smear. Pupil smears are for when the eyes change direction quickly but in this case it's a rather slow movement that isn't really of his eyes but his entire body and the smear is distracting.
There is a place in the same animation where a pupil smear would be fine and that's in the joyful jump, but still it's not necessary in this animation :)
Nah. It's great the way it is. Adding additional effects would put more pressure on hardware, as well as making it look nothing like the show. The Simpsons show doesn't look like a VHS tape on TV right now, so adding that would confuse newcomers to this game or the show. They would have no idea why it is there.
So is this another situation where we never get to play the game? Because if that's the case then i don't care about this AT ALL. Actually it makes me ANGRY to keep seeing remasters if this that i can NEVER PLAY
If Simpsons were still a fox thing I wouldn't sweat for this project but since it belongs to Disney now I have every appendage on my body crossed that they don't DMCA this incredible work. At least Nintendo didn't make it.
Will you be re-animating the Itchy & Scratchy cartoon "500 Yard Gash"? I always thought that cartoon being 3D animated was the biggest disappointment of the whole game.
