It's a neat mod in it's own right but the fact you're restricted to only the honor roller outside the vehicle restriction missions is really the only disappointing part I'd say about it.
I wish there is The Simpsons Hit and Run Mod: Barts pranks For an example: Bart goes to lardlad Donuts to steal a Donut truck then head back to the Simpsons house to troll homer and gets into a high car speed chase and then chief wiggum gets involved wanting donuts lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just completed the mod. It was a lot of fun and the usage of the connected map was a stroke of genius. But I have to get this out of my system, just some constructive critique: Some aspects of mission design are total bs. Like the mission where you gotta go walking?! to the trainyard. It's clever but very annoying after I kept failing when the alien car ran over me. Also mission 6 has a "hidden timer" after getting away from the alien car the last time, I kept failing the mission because I didn't drive fast enough to the ufo, even though there's no timer. It's too frustrating after chasing the alien car and avoiding the attacks to just fail without any warning and no reason whatsoever. Also, the crash at the end of the mission is still present, I had to complete this 3 times because it kept crashing on me after delivering the waste to the ufo. And mission 7, god, I hated it. I was playing in Nightmare and had to dial to default because of the "Destroy Barney" BS. I mean, is it even possible to do it? This mission is basically chase krusty across the city and hope for the best: The ultimate RNG experience. Damage is mostly done when krusty rams into cars and walls , I just rammed him 3 or 4 times in total, not to mention he has armored truck-durability. I just got lucky once because he became stuck on a wall and I could ram him some more. And the Honor Roller just doesn't cut it, you are practically lagging behind him the entire time because of the highways and long straights. I get it's meant to be difficult but it manages to be much more annoying and frustrating. I recently played A Long Long Night and that was difficult as hell as well but not nearly as annoying because the mission design was so in sync with the available vehicles and it actually required skill, not just waiting for a miracle.
I have played the Mod it's pretty good but gets so challenging. Need to skip a mission and last one was so much of pain in the butt. But overall it's really fun.
Yeah I played this mod today and also on that bugged mission when you have to drive the rc car and take a photo of the ufo for some reason you just start floating up into it and instantly fail the mission that happened every time…
