This has to be Action Park. There's a Defunctland episode about it. I used to go there in the eighties. I can confirm that it was uberfun and yes, we would get pitchers and sit and watch many people eat it. Just eatin' it so hard...

Correct guess even on this simpsons parody of the actuall park form New Jersey, went once as a kid after the action era ended, the motel and pool when traveling to Pennsylvania though New Jersey

@Robert Cote He was a kid in the sixties originally and dated Marge in the seventies but these flashback episodes seem to be keeping up with the years. An episode called 'That 90's show' had Homer and Marge as young twenty somethings in the late nineties.
