The darkest part of it was that adults haven't noticed the children... Bart is doing heroin, parents are arguing in front of Maggie & noone notices the absence of Lisa
As a russian, that's the biggest and smelliest dogshit I've ever heard. The bad luck for us is to whistle at home, or to spill the salt, but not that. If you spill the food, you're wasting fucking food, that's it.
Russians do have very dark humour 🌚 I would say how dark is our humour, but as I know in Western countries that is defined as racism, so I won't. Actually, we do have this kind of stuff in Russia, but not everywhere. At least, this is much less seen than it was in 90-s during very deep financial crisis, most of all, 1998. Actually, Russia at that time was pure hell on Earth and we weren't sure whether we will survive the other day. But even at that point we continued joking about death, starvation and hypothetical cannibalism. Cause we are Russians, our humour is even darker than the darkest black hole 😁😁😁
it's aesthetic. it might seem strange, but it's aesthetic. the doom, the depression, the squalor. the childhood of many Russians was dark because of the USSR got fucked up. the memory about it is still fresh.
You can just copy and past it to Google translator cus i'm to lazy to write it all in English :P
@@nothingleft3473 Nope. You can clearly see that the person to their right, which is Marge, is beating the person to their left, which is Homer. That one frame where he puts up a hand is just him trying to block it. Blood splatter says he failed.
Why kill? Have jou never seem couple violence where the husband ends bleeding or the house ends covered of blood? My mom and stepdad had that relation, snd both are very alive
@@ronnickels5193 no its more likely heroin, just because you watched the vice documentary on krokodil in russia doesnt mean thats the most used drug in russia lol. heroin is a far far more used drug
That intro is the the entire final episode, Lisa gets arrested, Bart becomes a heroin addict, Homer dies to Marge, Marge is imprisoned for murder, and Maggie is put up for adoption. All in a minute and ten seconds.
@@tintie8627 Are those the russian versions of those names? They sound like spanish, except Grigory that sounds british. I expected more slavic sounding names....
@Andrey I. Kuznetsov I lived in Russia all of my life. Soviet Union is a hotbed of idiocy, the people who lived in it are slaves to the government. They can't change anything in the country. That's why the Soviet Union is a dump, without the possibility of changing
@Ching Chong Better than globalist, socially "progressive" capitalism. Don't forget that living standards went downhill the moment Gorbachev came into the picture.
When you everyday see the same scenes, but in real life, this video will be comic for you. I watched all this video with the smile and I don’t know why.
The part with him stealing the lamp is hilarious. This is so spot on. It is sadly still the Russian mentality to take full advantage of your occupation. For drivers this involves stealing gas from their work vehicles and reselling it to acquaintances. For high level politicians this involves being so corrupt that you you take bribes in real estate. I remember having a lot of office equipment at my home because my mom worked at an office. So this video is pretty funny because of how true it is.
Everybody worried for Homer or Lisa, I worry for Maggie who is way too little and fragile to witness such violence and could get hit and hurt any moment now, like when Marge carelessly used her to open the gates. Mh mother instincts make me want to cry
If you closely at Russian Homer, you can see he has tattoos. Assuming his age is around his 40s or 50s, that means he grew up while the Soviet Union still existed. Back then no ordinary Soviet citizen had tattoos and the only ones that had them were criminals and convicts which means you do not want to f*ck with Russian Homer.
There is a fun fact about it. A lot of people, who were convinced to death sentence back in the soviet days made a Lenin or Stalin tattoo on their chest. They did it, because death sentence was performed through shooting, and if you had this tattoo, that meant, that soldiers had to shoot the picture of Stalin or Lenin, and they would never do that, because then they are fucked. I don’t know if that’s entirely true or not, but from the words of my parents, some convicts managed to escape their death sentences that way.
@@fakedbear5087 It is possible he got the tattoos after the collapse of the USSR, but even then it is extremely unlikely he got them as a law-abiding citizen at a tattoo shop. Firstly, because there were no such shops in the Soviet Union and in the early post-Soviet years, and when they did appear, they were mostly concentrated in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other major cities. The video, on the other hand, seems to take place in the provinces. Secondly, while young Russians today who were born during or after the collapse of the USSR are mostly fine with tattoos, older Russians like my mother, my father and their families who are roughly of the same age as Russian Homer still have a strong aversion to tattoos since it was the mark of criminals. You might say he was a fisherman or a sailor because seamen also had tattoos, but since the city the Russian Simpsons live in is not anywhere near the sea and the job of a fisherman/a sailor was a popular career path for ex-convicts, I still highly doubt he got those tattoos outside of prison
There was no need to go in such deep logical constructions, the placement of his tattoos and their blue colour make it pretty obvious he had some prison past.

this is the work of American moneybags, the ruthless outcome of the Cold War, but it will not be so. And the American spends billions to make it happen again
In Eastern Europe, Russia and most of the ex SSSR countries these family situations are distressingly common. People kinda get desensitized by the reality so its only natural to make jokes and laugh about it. But yes, it is scary and it does indeed suck

Almost true, hah. I'm russian and lived in a simular place when I was 8. I kinda miss it, but not that much. Being honest, these places don't seem so bad to me. I just really don't like the type of people showed in the animation. It's not like everyone there are like that but I've seen a lot of them. Anyway, there's also a lot of nice people, so...
It wasn't dramatic, it was based on many and many cases of domestic violence in Russia. So, probably, the most realistic way for this whole situation to happen. Though I don't really think the murder weapon would be the same - the knife fits better. I'd say the best way to end this would be husband beating the wife non-lethally though and only then everything repeating.

Bart is still in school, but already knows how to take away something from a person who is weaker than him, knows where to get drugs, and I'm sure this is a small part of what he knows. If he continues to adapt so well, he will become Minister
Lisa died, Homer was killed by Marge so that means she is probably getting arrested. That means Bart is alone now and Maggie is tossed in a hellish orphanage.
The most fucked up thing of all is that... This stuff happens worldwide. Doesn't matter the city or area, even in the purest suburb you can't escape all the bad.
The main tragedy of this genius shortfilm some of you non-Russians may not understand: is that the young Lisa was the only member of the family who dreamed about escaping the misery and was really trying to do something for it, to make some money, but her little attempts to do so were suppressed by *the state itself* represented by the police. The state's message is: humbly embrace living in misery and don't try to escape.
@@mcdldlgf6652 if you'll look at modern Russian movies (from 1993 to this day) about CCCP-times you will see hard anti-communist propaganda in every movie. And they all funded by the government. Moreover movie makers even don't obliged to return these money to state. Fortunately, those greedy untalented bastards can film nothing watchable.
It's weird, because the music gives a feeling of majesty and religiosity but the video depicts a deeply hurt society. Like it's Mother Russia, country of the thousand church, but an exhausted mother Russia. There is a lot of the Russian soul in this video, about the tocka etc
