The Simpsons Theory: Sherri & Terri's Missing Triplet 

This is actually very interesting. "Carrie" could've been significantly smaller and had to spend time in NICU. The twins wouldn't have known and thus bonded closer as twins. Then when the triplet was healthy enough to go home the twins reject her (fits with their mean streak). Thus the triplet is in Lisa's class and the Doctors statement

It could be that Sheri and Teri actually have a younger sister who resembles them but is not identical to them and is in Lisa's class. Perhaps she is shy and retiring because of living in Sherri & Teri's shadow or maybe she is plotting her revenge!

I would kill for a storyline with this character where she befriends Lisa and talks about how she can’t live up to expectations of being like Sherri and Terri who are mean while she is quirky and yet kind hearted. If she ever gets a name it should be Carie.

I remember hearing a theory that they were originally triplets called Stacey, Tracey and Macey

The simplest explanation is that she’s just the younger sister Similar to how Marge is the younger sister to Patty and Selma

The doctor at 2:54 says "They RECENTLY learned they were once two thirds of conjoined triplets." I would guess that maybe their parents kept Sherri and Terri, but gave "Carrie" up. Maybe because she didn't want three kids, or maybe the possible developmental issues you brought up were too much for them to handle. That would also explain why in the clip where they're messing with Marge the blanket their mom is making is all about twins and not triplets. It would also explain why Carrie would be out for revenge. She's angry for being given up, and mad because why her and not Sherri and Terri.

Carrie should be spelled with an ie to represent how she’s different from Terri and Sherri. Love the theory!

This is definitely a theory with substance and it could really rejuvenate Sherri and Terrri's characters

Now that the Simpsons has there shit together and are making better episodes, this would be amazing for them to address in a dedicated episode. They’re making serious episodes, and being outcast from your family is a serious enough topic for them to address.

That would be an interesting twist on the naming scheme based on the movie as it could be a Treehouse of Horrors episode. Other possibilities for her name would be Berry/Barri/Berri, Cherry, or Mary.

Better evidence than I expected. I can account for the undeveloped one and why the third twin is out for revenge. Sherri and Terri swapped their missing triplet for her clone from Shelbyville. It was probably less work than chaining her in the attic and feeding her a bucket of fish heads.

A storyline bringing in the 3rd triplet bent on revenge would be KILLER!!!

Carl Barks would sometimes accidentally draw and extra "triplet" along with Huey, Dewey, and Louie in his Disney duck comics. And in DuckTales, which were based on Barks' comics, the triplets are played by the same actress that voiced Sherri and Terri (and Martin) on The Simpsons.

one of my fave twins gags comes from the Simpsons episode Bonfire of the Manatees where Marge looses her memory she goes speed dating and meets her perfect guy. This man has twin brothers too they are like male dopplegangers of Patty and Selma but smoke cigars but they used to be quintuplets but the three brothers drowned and they try to come onto Patty and Selma and tell them to take a hike!

Tbh the first 2 instances were probably animation errors, but after that I guess they decided to reward the vigilant theorist fans who had noticed them and make it a reoccurring inside joke kinda to be like "ooooh the third twin" :D

The 'future' episode where Nelson Muntz apparently got BOTH of them pregnant...somehow. That was pretty weird.

A cool potential idea for this is probably more Treehouse of Horror than main Simpsons but... I'd love to see something similar to Patrick and Lois from Family Guy. However rather than thr triplet being a serial killer, she was locked up for something Sheri and Teri did, she escapes and starts terrorising them until people think they are crazy and get locked up too. Maybe the triplet teams up with Bart and Lisa too, but where Bart (sometimes) recognises there is a line, the triplet sister that was locked up does not (maybe while locked up they kept her away from othet kids because of hoe badly Sheri and Teri framed her) know or care where the line is and takes things way too far meaning Bart and Lisa have to now help Sheri and Teri. Then once it's all put in the open, they make the batshit cray decision to let the triplet return to her family to build bridges, and she can act as a foil for Sheri and Teri, like a looming threat and reminder that if they cross the line their sister will get them. Or maybe i gave this way too much thought, honestly i hardly ever watch The Simpsons anymore i just remember i hated these two with a passion. 😂😂😂

No Fly zone! It would be a bit tuff to not know you have 3 baby's! If you like this child could be a younger sister that is actually advanced academically and there for moved into Lisa's class. Or what has most likely happened is they had to be put into separate classes for a time because they got into trouble!

My life got so much better after the surgery that separated me from my conjoined twin. Thanks to all of the outpouring of love and charity we were finally able to have the expensive surgery when we were 27. That's when I really started living life to the fullest! I learned how to dance, found love and got married, enjoy taking showers by myself, etc., etc. being a conjoined twin can be very difficult both mentally and physically, especially when your conjoined twin is your brother. Don't get me wrong, I love my brother Patrick! Me and Patrick were inseparable when we were younger, we did everything together (we had no choice. LMAO.) and always had each other's backs. Believe me, it was always great having an extra set of hands when you needed them and never getting lonely but there's way more to being a conjoined twin than wearing matching sweat suits, being able to cheat easily on tests and running really fast. It can be very uncomfortable going to the bathroom with your twin brother sitting right there next to you, I found out the hard way that showing up for a blind date with your conjoined twin brother is a real turn off for guys, keeping that intimate and sexy mood going while you are trying to fool around with your boyfriend can be very difficult when your conjoined twin brother is right there next to you( especially when your brother ate a bunch of spicy tacos and burritos earlier in the day and he is farting nonstop.), sitting on the handlebars every time your brother wants to ride his bike gets old very fast, we never had any privacy, trying to read a book or pay attention to an episode of The Simpsons while you're conjoined twin brother is fooling around with his girlfriend is almost impossible and very uncomfortable when your twin brother's girlfriend's sister is along for the ride also and I'm sure everybody can understand how uncomfortable what a living hell it is like going through puberty with a conjoined twin brother( my first big middle school dance was a complete disaster because my brother was telling everybody how I had my first period that day. Boys can be such jerks!). But I digress, we all have our crosses to bear, my cross's name was Patrick. Believe me, there was no separation anxiety disorder after the surgery. I will always love my brother Patrick with all of my heart! We are extremely close and have that special bond that only twins share with each other( A great example is how we can speak to each other telepathically even when we are 10 miles,lol 16.1 kilometers, away from each other.) and still hang out together all the time at the bar and casino as much as we can. Having a twin brother is great, however having a conjoined twin brother can sometimes be a little bit less than great but when you are literally inseparable you learn to make the best of the situation while trying to live life as a happy and successful independent strong woman. LMAO, LMAO😈 Great video as always Lydia! Very fun and very interesting theories today! Those girls are definitely very creepy, LMAO!
