In this episode of The Simpsons Theory, I count every single kill from Matt Groening's The Simpsons Season 34 Episode 5 Treehouse of Horror 'Not IT', 2022. This video is inspired by Dead Meat's KILL COUNT.
The Treehouse of Horror episodes specials span from 1990 to today, and it is a Halloween tradition spooking the be-jesus out of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. This particular halloween special centres around Stephen King's 'It' and its movie adaptations by Andrés Muschietti starring Bill Skarsgård and Stranger Things Finn Wolfhard.

I’m honestly surprised The Simpsons waited this long to parody IT. The original miniseries came out right when the show was picking up steam, and the first movie came out five years ago, but I supposed the writers thought “better late than never”.

For a fun fact: Dead Meat actually appreciates kill counts like this. He said he appreciates these kind of kill counts cuz it’s like people are inspired by him. So that’s how you know you won’t get a copyright strike, because he is completely fine with it.

This episode was so good I would have loved to see an sequel to, "Not It," set place in the same universe with this reverse Bart and Lisa along with Maggie who was fathered by Homer. I would love to see Sideshow Bob take up Krusto's mantle. Thanks for the kill count! Poor Frank Grimes and Young Apu couldn't catch a break. :(

Actually, it's the SECOND episode to at least have a Pennywise character. The first is Season 21's "Rednecks and Broomsticks" where EVERYONE who drinks from the town's water supply is left temporarily blind and even someone who's blind and reads Pennywise's face runs away in terror!

Tim Curry's portrayal is a lot funnier but I gotta give it to bill Skarsgard. Skarsgard just nails what Pennywise should be, gleeful yet creepy, nothing too ridiculous, he does a great job at making the 2017 Pennywise a lot more threatening and horrifying.
