Even to this day, I find it both a little sad and hilarious that Frank Grimes was the most calm, normal, hardworking, and sane person in the world, and the only thing that broke him was Homer being so much more fortunate than him, and that nobody cared about how lazy or hopeless he truly is
The only time Wiggum does his job is when it involves Sideshow Bob, with that brief stint of trying to find who shot Mr. Burns and arresting Frank Grimes Jr.
@@jonmeyer3076 I mean the people at the airport told the north Haverbrook people he was coming there so they could attack him. I don't know if they killed him.
Nice but you left out the best Sideshow Bob defeat. Bart tricking him into singing the HMS Pinafore long enough to pass by the brothel Chief Wiggum was at. Hilarious and a musical treat
You mean a life with hips so pulverized that his hipbone has shattered into countless dust-sized fragments? The man just fell hundreds of feet directly onto a metal pipe that was tough enough to instantly stop his fall: he shouldn't even be alive, or in the rare case where he survives the impact, it should leave him with permanent debilitating injuries.
Ever since I first saw that episode I though that Sideshow Bob getting arrested was unfair. For once he helped save Bart instead of trying to kill him.
29:15 Bart: Wait! If you kill my dad, you'll never know where the treasure is buried Russ: What treasure? Bart: Uh... the treasure of Ima Wiener Russ: Ima Wiener? Homer/Bart: 🤣 Homer: Classic

It's crazy to think sideshow bob obsession with wanting to kill Bart was all cause Bart snitched him out about framing Krusty its kinda like how the giant chicken and Peter always started fighting because the chicken gave Peter an expired coupon

Frank Grimes wasn't a villain, he was the only person smart enough to take a stand against Homer's blatant stupidity and went mad trying to show people how much of an idiot Homer is. Poor Frank Grimes.
I think it was more of Grimes trying to get people to care about the fact that Homer's an idiot, and the lack of caring from others is what broke him This is a guy who spent much of his life scraping for every nickle and dime through diligence and hard work ethic, after getting a job at the power plant ends up meeting someone whose accomplishments are largely (if not entirely) credited to sheer dumb luck
But that’s life. I would feel bad for him if Homer didn’t actually try to be nice to him. When he found out Grims didn’t like him he in his idiotic way tried to make amends. Grimms was too jealous to see that.
@@MrSophire yeah, that's part of why I don't feel too bad for him, he was consumed by the hatred and jealousy towards Homer's sheer dumb luck Genuinely, I feel Frank could've saved his sanity had he just let it go, especially since the people he tried to raise awareness of Homer's idiocy are so used to it that they're either numb to it or straight-up stopped caring to avoid going insane themselves I apologize if that was a mouthful, but I wanted to expand my earlier comment in a way
Yeah, you get Grimes' hostility from his messed up past but it doesn't excuse him acting like a douche especially since Homer wanted to be friends. His trying to humiliate homer was nothing but petty, so screw him.
I don't think Frank Grimes got what he deserved, he just got frustrated that Homer is a slacker who got everything whilst he worked hard and got nothing

"Spider Willie" was actually a dream Demon, like Freddy Krueger, the giant robots were more "giant mascots" and Mr. Burns was the villain in the first one, not so much Maggie
And she got to be with a new boy. But the new boy is the boy from the library that Lisa likes. So if I can make up a fictional sequel we can see both Bart and Lisa get revenge on Jessica and the new boy.
@@jonmeyer3076 yeah that be really cool. I love Willem Dafoe and see him team up with sideshow. Bob would be awesome but he was probably one of those one time villains. The Simpsons has a lot of those

@@eriktokar4487 Because it would be really funny to hear someone realise something shocking then blurting it out. Come on, imagine what it would be like.
To this day I'm still annoyed by that first Bob defeat just cause Bart does actually figure out something that solves the case but he doesn't actually say what it was instead going on about how good hearted people have small feet and then the cops go and arrest Bob based on that alone.
Was Frank Grimes really a villain? I always felt bad for him. 9:31 Also, she didn't even get defeated. Sure, the kids sorta prevailed over her, but that was a temporary victory until Homer and Marge let her escape with their stuff.

Seeing villains being defeated in cartoons is satisfying, amazing, astounding cruelly cool, a masterpiece, arguably & stupendously badass. If I came up with a cartoon villain who is this powerful enough like William Cipher and gotten folded like an omelette with something massive thing that would be unfolding to the antagonist, that would be super badass. Do y’all agree? (This might be the longest comment I made)
13:21 I like how even though Bart has been a terror to the adults around him, they still will stand up for him and not let him be punished and blamed for something he didn't do.
OK 4 Thing’s 1. I really really liked the ending of the video saved the best Simpsons villain defeat for last and 2. I think Russ Cargill is the greatest villain that The Simpsons has ever had and who knows maybe he might make a come back in The Simpsons Movie 2 and 3. Fun fast Russ Cargill is voiced by Albert Brooks and he also voiced Hank Scorpio in Season 8, Episode 2: “You Only Move Twice” and 4. Skyfaller3D why didn’t you include Hank Scorpio in the video?
He's actually a villain for trying to humiliate him in front of everyone at the nuclear plant at the contest. Ironically Homer's work was better than ralph and martin
Frank had an irrational hatred for Homer Simpson. Homer tried to be nice to him, but Frank threw that kind gesture back in his face. If he hadn't accidentally electrocuted himself, he likely would have turned into a full blown insane supervillain, and tried to blow up the entire power plant.
6:55 Sideshow Bob (Sidey) is hero now ☺️☺️My favourite ❤️ 27:17 twice-time hero ❤️ And third-time, when he and the Simpsons family defeated Burns and Smithers, at the season 31😏
2:24 Sideshow Bob: Would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for these meddling kids. Me: And a meddling dog. Bart Simpson: Take him away, boys. Scooby-Doo: Yeah, meddling dog.
It’s strange that I haven’t seen this pointed out, but Maggie is like proficient at beating villains for some reason, idk if it’s some weird running gag of sorts but I freakin love it
