The Sims 2 - Loading Screen 

I spent half of my life in this loading screens

I love how the last EP, Apartment Life, had a soft, gentle, pretty much quiet intro playing as it welcomed you to the game. In retrospect, it's almost like the game is giving you a heartfelt "So long! We loved playing along with you!" vibe, because it's was the last EP, and The Sims 3 would come out the following year. I think of it as credits music, but I LOVE listening to it. You can't tell on here, but listen to the whole track...it makes me nostalgic for Sims 2 again. :')

I have all the EP's and SP's installed, and the loading screen has the Mansion & Garden logo but the Apartment Life theme. By the way Apartment Life's loading theme is my favourite.

After installing the last EP "Apartment Life" I would like to go back to some older loading screen (I loved the "Open For Business" one)... I wonder if there's a mod that can randomize loading screens XD

Great stuff. The University load music was my favorite; they went all out to have it sound like a song you'd hear a marching band play at a football game. Too bad it was a brief moment in this clip.

Man, I loved The Sims 2's music. Okay, most of the time I have music off (I still play), I only turn on the sound effects, but still, it had all the different versions of the main theme and shitloads of other tracks. TS3? So far only 3 friggin' loading themes and the last 2 expansions didn't even have any build/buy/cas music. (Last two, meaning Showtime and Supernatural.)

Before it took 5 hours to load in Sims 3.

The Mansion & Garden Stuff theme is the one from Apartment Life, not from H&M / Teen Style.

well actually if for example you have m&g and apartment life it plays the most recent expansion theme but if it's just ts2 and a stuff pack then yes

i always thought my sister owned all the packs but i can recall all sound tracks except "open for business"

i dont understand how the game works with all the expansion packs cuz i got the game and only 1 expansion pack and that added alot of stuff/interactions etc..so if i was to buy every single expansion, how would it work as a game? Does the main storyline with the goth family etc stay? and do the expansion packs add anything to the neighbourhoods?? also what determines what music plays etc ???

I think i enjoyed the sims 2 because it was set 25 years after sims 1...and sims 3 was set 50 years before sims 2

The FreeTime music used to piss me off.. especially since I had to endure 30 minute startup loading times since I had so much CC.

It's a not a glitch or anything. :P It's most likely because if you don't have Apartment Life or some Stuff Packs installed, it will play the last theme song you had.

when i download final stuff pack and base game sims 2 I hear the sims 2 music not The Sims 2 H&M Fashion stuff in the video

yup sure it is took me a lot of minutes to play the game while loading up the loading screen for me to play the game how I wish sims 2 neighborhood has a similarity between sims 3 neighborhood for you not to wait on going to a community lots or neighborhood without loading up the screen for long...

Something is off about your later Stuff loading screens. For some reason your MGS is sharing a theme with the other Stuffs, but mine shared the AL theme.
