OMG so many awesome memories. I love how they used to talk and the whistling!! I totally forgot about that. But SO don't miss the annoying as F*** flies all the time and the tantrum every morning when they woke up. If you play games on the computer your fun goes up a lot faster than watching tv. People judge this game too harshly. Sims 1 was amazing at the time and for the time. Sims 2 was revolutionary in bringing so many new mechanics still found in sims 4 today.
This is such a throw back. I think the sims was the first video game I actually played. This game is what started my obsession with the sims series I guess 😆

I had a file that was so fucked up and incapable of moving out because I sold my mothers house, built my own and made the mother live out in a shed, that my sim turned green. And then I made it to Dudley's house, sold it and made a giant pool that I drowned half the neighborhood in. Fun times, fun times!

This will always be the best sims for me💕 I played this game so much, mom would owe me money for adding in better furniture and stuff xD I think I still remember all of the cheats for the came as well xD too bad the CD is now scratched to the point where i can no longer play it qwq even though the CD was extremely scratched up lol. I should buy a new ps2 and this game just so I can relive my childhood xD
Something I found out about your moms house is that you dont even need to borrow money from her. If you sell her stuff and have 800 dollars it considers it done.
when i played this game i was around 11 years old so i didnt realy know what the heck i was doing,i think there was a cheat code i used to get the shower that floats you in the air lol,its fun learning more about this game via watching this
I hated the digital clock whizzing the time by 22 years ago!! Oh the memories of the timer, the stuff that would break down...and mother screaming at you from postit notes on screen 😂😂😂 but in real life it made me 😡😡😡😖😖😖 have a (headache)💊🥤when real mother would shout things.
The easiest way to make sure your Sims are happy is upgrade the stuff in the house. You do that by selling the useless stuff and use the money to buy better stuff. You don't need the coat of arms, the aquarium, the plants, etc. Get a better TV, get rid of the bathtub and get a shower (to save time), change the toilet to the auto flush one, better quality chairs, etc. It will take less time to increase your needs when you do this. Buy things that serve more than one purpose. Serve a meal, invite someone over and eat dinner with them to increase your social, hunger, comfort (comfy chairs) then watch TV with them to increase your fun, social and comfort or play chess with your guest to increase fun, build logic skills, social and comfort. Pierre and Pauline doesn't make much mess when you invite them over. Try to serve meals instead of having a meal. Serving a meal feeds 4 I think for $20 and have a meal serves 1 for $10. Time things so you eat 2 times a day. I think it takes 8 hours for food to go bad. This saves time because you're only cooking one meal to eat 2 times a day. When your cooking skills are higher, you will only need 1 meal a day. One last tip, hit pause whenever they change (when the purple curtain goes up). If you let the game run, time will continue passing while you're changing. If you hit pause, it will stop time while you're changing. I know it doesn't save a lot of time, but when you add it all up, it saves quite a bit of time.
